Make sure "allow cheats" is on then press and hold ctrl+shift+~ or ctrl+shift+@ (it differs). A box should come up type in the following for the indicated effects:

Cheat_power(#) - GIVES YOU THE AMOUNT OF POWER TYPED INTO BRACKETS
Cheat_requisition(#) get "n" number of requisition units - GIVES YOU THE AMOUNT OF REQUISITION TYPED INTO BRACKETS
Cheat_revealall - REVEALS FOG OF WAR
Cheat_killself - KILLS YOURSELF
Shadow_toggle - TOGGLES SHADOWS ON OR OFF
Getsimrate() SHOWS THE GAME SPEED
Taskbar_hide - HIDES THE TASKBAR
Taskbar_show - SHOWS THE TASK BAR
Message_hide - HIDES MESSAGES
Message_show - SHOWS MESSAGES
