After managing to regain your breath from the jaw dropping opening clip, you are submurged into one of the most compelling and addictive games of 2005, Soul Calibur III.
With it's beautiful graphics and compelling game play, this has to be a hit for 2005

Graphics

They push the PS2 to it's limits, the graphics are beautifully smooth and look superb, the weapons are finely detailed. The areans are now more beautiful than ever and the actually fighting looks and feels smoother, the Game is pushing the PS2 as far as it will possably go

Sound

The sound is intense, from the war cries of Mitsuguri, to the clashing of steel against steel. It makes you feel like you are stuck in the middle of a war zone, the cut scenes are also very impressive and the voice over actually matchs the lips, sort off!

Gameplay

Brilliant, each characters stance, movement and attacks are different, and story modes are superb, the fights are also much more intense and fast, the 'you snooze, you loose' phrase is the best way to describe it, you can either be a stragitc fighter and use complex and powerful moves, or hope for the best by button bashing

Lastability

Absolutly amazing, will keep you entertained for hours and if you manage to complete the story modes, you have then got the brillant Create-a-character to do, the possabilites are endless, and there are also hundreds of different items to unlock as well as quite a few different classes to unlock an choose from

Overall

Overall this game is a must have, it will keep you entertained fo hours, and the possibalites for creating your ow character are endless! The game play is amazing and the sheer amount of things you can unlock is seemingly endless, you can create any type of character, from a heavly armoured knight, a sain angel, are you could be completly different and decided to have a mace weilding clown!
