Full Review of Super Mario 64 DS for Nintendo DS

Good game. The original game, Super Mario 64, was a hit and perfect for anyone, young or old. Super Mario 64 DS, has better features BUT too easy and short. It is what is expected. Luigi, Yoshi, and Wario have joined the fun, and additional features have been added. Too easy anyway.

Graphics

Amazing. Much better then the original cheap textures. The building placement is the same, but the graphics are highly improved. The simple, "Box and Texture" is in the game, for example having as big or as small you want a box, with the texture using the size it fits in. Cheap.

Sound

Boy, I hated the scratchy voice of the original game. The voice is now clear, and much softer. Not much of improvement, but better.

Gameplay

Great. Fun. Easier. The easy part just makes it slide downhill, but it was a fun game. You can't beat that. More stars, but easier. Using more people was a great idea, or the game would be a total bore. Fun, anyway.

Lastability

SHORT! Well, not too short. I got 100 stars in 6 hours. Simple? You bet! There should be more, but those of you that like short games, play this. I actually finished all three profiles because of the duriation.

Overall

Fun. That wipes out the others in a game. This is somewhat worth the price, but most importantly, there was fun. The age range of the game is 8-oo.
