Full Review of Hitman: Blood Money for PlayStation 2
Other Reviews for this game
Introduction
Hitman: Blood Money places gamers once again in the role of the world’s greatest assassin, Agent 47. When assassins from Agent 47’s contract killing firm, The ICA, are systematically eliminated in a series of hits, it seems a larger more powerful agency has entered the fray. Sensing that he may be the next target, Agent 47 travels to America, where he Prepares to Make a Killing.
Graphics
09
The graphicd in Blood money are a huge improvement on the other games, with brilliant character models and breath taking environments, this edition of the Hitman series is the best looking yet. Although the game has good graphics, it still suffers from some slowdown during big gunfights, but this doesn't really get in the way.
Sound
07
The sound in this game is pretty much what you'd expect, while it's nothing special, it still delivers good quality gunshot sounds, and is really satisfiying when you hear civillians screaming and fleeing in terror as you shot up everything around them.
Gameplay
10
The gameplay is superb, mixing a blend of stealth and action together to make a really satisfiying experience. For instance, the training level alone has a variety of cool elements about it such as using a guard as a human sheild, while you kill all of his friends, or when you hide a gun in a food crate to get past security, then turning around and blasting the guard to death once you are through. The stealth elements have stuck to the old formula by making you cover your tracks by hiding bodies and leaving no evidence of the kill.
Lastability
08
This will have you blasting and sneaking away for weeks before your through, but once you've got the Silent Assasin ranking on each mission, the game has very little to offer aside from playing the game again with a much more subtle approach, i.e., killing everything in sight.
Overall
09
Overall this game gets a very high 9 out of ten. If it weren't for the occasional slowdown and the sometimes strange AI ( guards running aimlessley into walls etc.) , Hitman Blood Money would have got a 10, this is a brilliant game that everyone who has a PS2 or Xbox should own. By the way, at the end credits, wiggle the left analogue stick.
Final Score : 86 %
