Full Review of Halo: Combat Evolved for XBox

Halo is probably the best first person shooter for the Xbox. It's hands down amazing, and will always be the best game in the world. For me, at least. Now, all you people who haven't played Halo, you don't know what you're missing. You're missing the perfect game! Now, what's so great about Halo? I'll tell you.

Graphics

The graphics are fantastic. Maybe not as good as Halo 2, but still good enough to get a 9 out of 10. The Aliens, the starships, the intense battles, everything is beautiful. The only thing not as good as everything else is the grass. Completely flat.

Sound

The music is great. It gets you all pumped up, and excited about what you're going to do next. The sound effects are pretty good too. 10 out of 10. Listen to everything everyone says. Hear that expression? The "I'm sooo smarter than you" tone in Cortana's voice? Beautiful.

Gameplay

Now, the gameplay is something else. Sometimes the cutscenes take up a little too much time of your gameplay, though. The control layout is really easy to learn, and within half an hour, you should be able to start a campaign on easy. 9 out of 10. Perfecto!

Lastability

This game took me at least 5 months to beat. It's lastability is great. Sometimes, you just have to play a level over again, so it's extreme fun should last for at least a year. Definitley a 10 out of 10. The best thing about it's lastability is that, after you beat the game, you can go back and play on a different level, without disturbing your beaten campaign, or starting a new one.

Overall

So overall, as I said in the beginning, it adds up to a complete 10 out of 10. Perfect. Bungie has really outdone themselves this time around. It's incredibly fun to play, it's storyline is clever and suspenseful, and the game itself is perfect. Halo is the one and only perfect game.
