To kill a player faster try to sneak up behind them. when you do, hit them and it will usually kill them in one hit.

Also when your aiming at them try to keep your sight one them at all times. this will help cuz you always no where they are.

Another helpful hint is to reload before the game does it for you.

If you reload in the middle of a battle it's eaiser to get killed.

All right here`s how to light a firework 1.go to blood gluch 2. grab some plasma gernades 3.throw 2 plasma gernades without moving the right thumbstick reely fast that way they will be stuck togheter and then look up after you throw them and BOOM you will see a blue firework... (NOTE it will only work on the grass)

Do you find yourself teamed up with your friend, and have to sacrifice your lives time and time again? Well no more, becuase I have supplied you with a srategy to conquer the game, as I have, many time before.

As you progress through the levels of the game, you tend to find out that you are better with one gun more than another. While you are playing with your friend, exchange weapons so that one has close-range/mid-range weaponry(Assault Rifle-Shotgun-Plasma Rifle-needler) and the other with mid-long range weapons(Sniper Rifle-Rocket Launcher-etc). If the short range person guards the long-range person from short-range attacks, then the other can guard the shortrange guy from longer attacks. This will surely help you throughout the rest of the game, and even in multi-player competition.

There are many ways to get on top of sidewinder. I found out most of them by being on top of side winder and seeing alternate routes.

The first one is the easiest way but you need 4 people. Go to the blue base on the top ledge. You'll see a little sill above, you take one person (I recommend using this guy to snipe and watch people from sniping you and getting 4 kills).

Take another guy and jump on top of him, take the third and have him stand next to him, take the 4th and hop on top of the one guy, then jump onto the 2 guys.

Then hop on the sill. Have a running start on the sill going towards the blue base, jump at the end and onto the little walkup pretty easy to see where to jump, then walk on top of the level.

You can also do it w/ 2 players by one standing on the other and throwing a plasma on his head to get an extra boost to jump, if you try doing it just yourself w/ a grenade, you need about another inch.

Another way is to take a warthog go up the ramp thats inside the caves, to the center. You will see another sill on top of the doorway. Park the warthog to the shorter side, have one player hop on the gun, then you jump on him then onto the sill.

Now if you have only 2 players you go to the tallest part of the sill drop a frag (not a plasma grenade will stick to your feet) and jump when the blast goes off. You will be on top of the level, or you can do it w/ 3 players and instead of using the grenade you and have one jump off of your head.

Also there is many ways to take the ghost and jump the scorpion where the rocket launchers are, but everyone knows those.

After you go across the bridge and kill a Banshee, let an Elite get halfway across the bridge.

Then snipe it with your pistol. It will dodge off the bridge and fall to it's doom. BWAHAHAHAHA! This is good for legendary.

Don't shoot at the group of covenant, before you do this otherwise the Elite won't go across the bridge.

If you are hiding away from a group of aliens and their are grunts and elites, throw a plasma grenade on the grunt and shall run to another alien an kill it too. (BEWARE IT ALSO MIGHT RUN BACK TO YOU AND HURT YOU!!!!!!!!)

This isn`t really a cheat but it is FUNNY!!

First go to multyplayer mode(with a friend)and choose co-op.

Go to the level the silent cartographer(the one were you invade that wierd beach)and walk out into the water about waste deep, DO NOT MOVE from your spot, you and your freind should take out your mashine guns and hit each other with them remember to let your freind kill you, dont run away!

After youve killed each other about 50 times find one of your grenades
step into the middle of the pile of dead bodies and look straight down, huck a grenade.

Run backwards vary fast but not to far, than watch the grenade explode throw about 50 bodies flying throug the air.
its really really funny try it.

on the multiplayer mission. as soon as you are dropped off by echo419 jump and press x you should get back into the dropship. as it heads over the void one of you get out and fall to your death. if the ship hits one of the spinning things on the way down you will re-generate on it. you have to keep running and jump at the gaps. when the other guy dies he aslo will beem up on the spinny thing and you can spend hours running in circle so beware this achieves nothing but its fun for 5 minutes.

How 2 jump off hight places w/out losing any health(w/out using a sheild):when u jump u have 2 land on a rock when u land u wont lose any health

Here's how u can make a giant splash on silent cartographer: (u have 2 have a plasma pistol)u have 2 point it at the water and then hold it till its fully charged and then release the trigger.

If u do it corecctly the will b a gigantic splash.

Go to the multiplayer mode but you haft to have friend or some one playing with you. when you are playing if your teammate dies you just run away and keep running till your partner comes back and thats a hint.

Using your Marines:Your Marines seem of an annoyance than a help,but trust me,they come in handy.Attack the same enemies they do for quicker kills and to increase the chance of your Marines surviving.

In case you were wondering if you can get in one of Covenant Wraith tanks well, I'm sorry to report that you can't.Unlike the human tanks you can't the pilot separate from the vehicle.And even if you kill all the enemies before they get in the tank you still can't fill that empty seat yourself.

Breaking the Covenant







Grunts: Almost anything will take out these wusses quick, but the pistol is especially effective. Or if you can attach a plasma grenade to one of a group of Grunts, there’s a good chance it will panic and share the eventual explosion with its neighbors.







Elites: Concentrate on killing these guys first: Sometimes when they die the accompanying troop of grunts will run away in a panic. And don’t forget Elites have shields just like yours. Try an overcharged plasma pistol blast to take out their shields, then follow up with a few quick shots from your secondary weapon.







Jackals: Aim for the small notch on the sides of their shields to knock them off-balance, then follow up with a few body shots until they go down. (The pistol works perfectly for this.) Otherwise use the same strategy we talked about for the Elite’s shields.







Hunters: These guys seem tough, but one well-placed pistol shot in the back will take them down. (Aim for the brownish patch of skin). If you can’t get behind them, try this: “circle strafe” close to them, moving around them but always looking at the Hunter. It will circle also, in some strange sort of polka dance or mating ritual. Spoil the mood by shooting the Hunter in the head until it falls or charges at you.







Maggots (Flood): In small numbers, they’re no problem—save your ammo and just let your shields absorb them three or four at a time. In groups, though, you’ll want to fire bursts with the assault rifle or either of the plasma weapons. Try to hit ‘em when they’re close together in groups to cause a chain reaction.







Bomb guys (Flood): A mid-range shotgun blast will set these guys off almost immediately; try to hit them when they’re around other Flood to use their explosive tendencies to your advantage. But do not grenade them. It will just throw them through the air (often toward you).







Main guys (Flood): Two words: the shotgun. Dodge these freaks when they charge or jump and then force-feed them buckshot. Don’t bother with the melee attack or sniper rifle against them.

One shot at the Hunter's back with the N6D Pistol will kill it.







The best protection is in the front of the Warthog. Face your enemies to get the most cover from the vehicle.







ps;Your first tip is not funny at all Master Chief nothing persanal it just ise'nt funny to me.

On the fith level assault on the control room when you get to the stone bridge and dont get one of the banshees there is a small ramp that leads to the ground and far above the control room. If your lucky and have full health and sheild you can land on it ( remember do not jump it makes it harder and takes away more health) it will take you to the bottom

Okay you now about the alternate ending. One marine and one Elite fighting over an assualt rifle. Then when the ship goes criticle. The marines says "This is it baby," to the Elite then he says "hold me". So the two of them grab each other and hug and the Elite slides his hands onto the Marines butt. It is hallarious

Sliently kill grunts


if u are ever in a room full of sleeping grunts(the little blue guys) you can kill them by hitting them with your gun.





Kill elites


to kill elites (the big armored guys) hit them in the back of the head or hit the middle of their of their forhead





Kill own team mates with out people knowing


when u're in a tank, get your teamates and get them on the tank, while in a quite tunnle go clost to the wall and shoot, they will all be killed

A small glitch this one, on assault on the control room after coming down from the first bridge, go over to the flipped warthog and somewhere there will be a rocket launcher, take it and keep it, just save a few rockets.





After killing every thing up to the part where you get the scorpion, look up after the scorpion bit before going into the next battlefeild, look up, this is a Banshee take of pad.





Whip out your rocket launcher and walk forward until the checkpoint is triggered, now turn on the rocket launchers scope and aim just to the right of the support beam into the centre, the banshee should fall down, if not revert to saved and repeat.

How to get air in a Warthog!


Go to the second level (Halo) and go to the cliff edge. Go to the second entrence which is the farest entrence from the tunnel. Go to the right of the building past the rocks and up the mountian.

In the very last level of the game, as you're driving the Warthog out of the Pillar of Autumn, on the second jump, do not go all the way across. Then back into the room thats behind you and get out. if you look on the wall the name REX will be in blood on the wall.

Hold 'Y' button just before you hit the ground, then you shouldn't get hurt!

To get 3 guns at one time on the first level (pillar of autumn).

When you get to captain keyes for the first time watch the cut scene.

After, he will give you the pistol go back through the little corridor where you usually get the ammo (if you do the level on normal, hard or legendary sometimes you won't) the grunts won't be there, the door will open and you will get the assault rifle.

Go forwards and defeat the covenant and pick up an alien gun.

Go back to captain keyes and wait for the 'checkpoint done' to come up and go back to the little corridor you will get the ammo for the pistol and the grunts will be at the end.

You will be holding 3 guns now.

This tip only works on the first level.

Ok this is a tip for the halo newbies....if you are playing multiplayer you can always block the teleporters using any vehicle......



Also if you jump then duck you will jump higher....also if you have a shotgun and are in a close range battle don't be scared just run up and jump over the enemy.



While in the air aim down and shot him/her in the top of the head usually a one shot kill always works for me....



Last but not least I suggest playing as much as ou can and practice snipering.

In Sidewinder u put CTF, 50% heath, make it so u have to get the enemys flag, and no sheild go to town and get over 100 kills but dont try to get the flag.



That is so fun and go to town and people will get mad when u rank up the points.
