If you can get an enemy past their loading zone(the area that keeps the AI in the enemy) they will stop moving. Their bodies will stand still and they will give off blood and most explosions will post-pone and be set off at the same time. So have fun blowing up poor defenseless grunts.

When playing on 1 player story mode when you select the level right when you press A to start the loading screen don't let go but HOLD IT DOWN and the loading thing will go by much faster than normal.

To kill a massive hunter 1 shot shoot him in the belly were he aint protected by armour and he should die in 1 or 2 shots

Okay.First make a varrent with 400% health, infinate gernades, and rockets on map. Then go to any map(prefferably one outdoors). Look down and throw a plasma,and imidiatly switch to fragments.throw a frag and jump. When you are in the air, shhot a roket at the ground.It should shoot ypu into the air. It takes some practice, soo don't get too boasty.Hope you learned something new.

Run away from enemy people when your shields are low don't be dumb and die !

First get in a ghost. Then go to the red base and look for a rock on the right side of the field. Then drive behind the rock and aim the X on a tree to the left.

Then drive side ways srait to the wall when you start going up the slant of the wall jump out and the ghost should hit you and make you fly up to the top of the level.

This will take a while to get the timeing when you jump out right, but I promise it works. It took me 2 hours to get it and I'm pretty good.

Grenade yourself so that you die. You have to be near a Wraith (Assault of the Control Room recommended). After you die you might see a blue underglow neon under the Marines and your dead body. This is fun!

Ok, this is only for Splitscreen.
On the level where there are to bases, a blue and a red, and it is snowy, with a cliff in between the bases, I forget the name of the level but anyway, Go to near the blue base and there should be a ramp heading up to the portal that takes you to the blue base, drive a tank up there and point the front toward the portal and park it and get out. Next, go get a ghost and ride it up the tank, the game should glitch and you should be basically standing on nothing. This is a great sniping spot and very hard for the other players to find you. This hint should take a few tries as it is kind of difficult.

At the end of assault on there is an artificial ledge in the control room canyon (you need to get on this ledge on two betrayals to get to a power core). Anyway you need a banshee theres one on the rock bridge but it requires some skill (if you havent got a sniper rifle). Get the banshee and fly up to the ledge. Park the banshee with the back touching the door then get out. This may take a few atempts but once youre inside it's wierd trust me.

PS. If you have trouble finding the ledge it's the first power core room you go in on two betrayals but you can get in it on ASOTCR. Have fun

This isn't really a cheat just somthing to amuse people.

Throw a plasma grenade on the ground then throw another on top without moving and the first grenade will blow up sending the second in the air looking like a firework.

On the Maw, after the tap from Guilty Spark, as soon as you get in to the maintenance access ways there will be a grunt being attacked by flood.

Go left, you can shoot the grunt or the flood will kill him anyway.

To the right, there will be a blast door with the glass. If you look out you can see a battle going on with sentinals, covenent, and flood.

You'll be able to shoot them and they will not be able to shoot at you.

What you need for it to work.

1. The multiplayer level Blood Clutch
2. Sniper
3. Ghost

Ok people this may take a few tries to get this cheat right. First you go to the level Blood Clutch. Then you get in a ghost and you drive to the red base. When you get there face the blue base and go to your right.

You should see a rock by the mountain, drive behind the rock and once again face the blue base. In the distance to the left u should see a plant. Face the ghost so that the aim thing is on the plant.

Then drive sideways toward the montain, when you start to hit the slope, jump out the ghost should hit you up ontop of the mountain. You will be floting on nothing, but on top of the mountain.

You can shoot people but they cant shoot you. I found this code on accident. I swear to everything in the world that it works.

I do it every time i play and i win every round. It is hard to get it but it works. You have to get the timing of your jump right and it may take a few tries.

Blow the arms off a flood, and it will follow you around, but is incapable of harm, really cool actually.

There are loads of easy ways. You can either fire a plasma pistal at him to take down his shield and blast with a assult rifle, or Keep firing at him with a plasma rifle or a needler, or just blow him to bits with a rocket launcher. It depends on which location you are in.

There were some things not typed in my last submission so here they are. And CrazyKeleb, what you said about pop-up covanent is not true. You were thinking of the sentinals. There IS pop-up covanent in that level after you get a Warthog. There is also some in level 6 before you take the first lift. Some pop-sentinals in level 8 come after you destory the first generator. Some pop-up flood is also in level 8 after the second one goes boom. Just to let you know, these are not my hints.

My hints were: Betrayed Marines:Frags;
Assult Rifle; (Shotgun Level 6 only). Pistol;(Crewman and CC only). Note: CC is not an enemy, he's just nuts.
Sniper Rifle; (Levels 5 and 2 only). Neddler;(Level 5 only). Plasma Rifle (Levels 5 and 6 only). Comb

First One-
Note: you may have to revert to the save checkpoint if you want him to die. After you hear Cortona say "Don't let them lock the doors!", quickly throw a plasma grenade in the door or on the guy himself.

Second One-
Send the two Warthogs with two marines in each one, close to the door, and side by side. He should die during the movie before the "It's Quiet..." cut-sene.

Last One-
You'll kill him when you're escaping.

Okay. Do you hate it when you and your friend(s) are having private battles and some sniper is picking on everybody? Well, what you do is this:

They'll normally crouch down, right? So, you run near where they are. Make sure you have a frag grenade on you, if not, a plasma grendae will do. When they're firing at everybody, Sneak up behind them and lob a grenade right behind them. Then watch thier butts get scorched!

Also, if you want to snipe people, have a sniper and a good powerful weapon like a shotgun. If there's a back way to get to where you want to snipe from, go that way. If there's anybody there, or nearing there, kill them, then run away and wait a bit until they will have had time to investigate. Then go back there.

Snipe people until you think someone knows where you are. Remember to frequently check if anybody's nearing you. Once you think someone thinks they know where you are, run away. Get out your other weapons and have the place where you were sniping them from in your sights. This works best if you're hiding in some bushes or something. Anyway, shoot them if they come near that place. Enjoy as they spin around looking from where the gunfire comes from.

This needs two players. On the last level the Maw go in where the kichen is and the hunters bust the door for you let player 2 stay in the kichen and let player 1head out of the kichen away to the control room. Let player 2 come to you and you will see 6 Covement pop in front of you. PS. Look for my codes.

In multi player go on chiron TL34 and if you go through the tele porters you will eventually go to a place where you can get an r launcher over looking room with leval 1 on it.

Slowly walk backwards and with a few goes you will go behind the tele p and when an enamy goes through hit him on the back and he will DIE!!!

In hang em High you can get up to the top of the base with the incline tunnel....when coming out of the tunnel there is your normal ramp up if you go left....if you go right you will see a piller....if you jump on the piller then jump to the ledge you will be on the mid level....then again you can procede to the ramp of just hop up on the piller and up again to the top..............

In hang em high on the lower base with the lil covered ramp on the left of the trench to get up......or the ramp on the far wall.....there is a piller on the right side of the trench that you can jump on then jump to the level.

In hang em high a good way to to come up fast on somebody is to fall from above. if you land properly you wont get hurt...all you ahve to do is duck right as you land...

In hang em high...if your low on health and are up high you can dive into the trenches to grab the health....as long as you go into it using it as a landing.

In the graveyard areas in the game you can use them as both shield from above if you croutch, if enemies come near you you can easily jump on them and jump across the jumps slaying the tops of your enemies.

Best combo is the pistol/rocket launcher....but its cheap......easiest way to get the rocket launcher is to wait for the camo then you can go up the ramp to get it ...or from the top ramp where there is camo....the sheilds are just cheap and used by the weak...but both appear at this spot..and drop off landing on the rocket launcher...next best combo and my favorite is the pistol/shotgun

In teams use your teamaits as pillars to gain advantage points.
best way to flank the low base

Jump (press A) then duck( left analog) to jump higher

In the level "Keyes" There is a wierd and funny glitch. All you do is continue through the level like normal until you're almost at the part where you find the captain.

Kill everything EXCEPT a coulpe of flood or covenant. Then walk up to the captain. It will start the movie while you're getting shot.

Eventually you'll die and the movie will continue with a dead Master Chief.

I came across this Purely by acciedent.

When I did it the master punched the face of the captain RIGHT as he died!

It was pretty funny.

ok you know how you can push B and hit someone with your gun? and normaly if you want to kit them again you have to wait like 2 seconds we'll not anymore.

PUSH B TO MELEE AND THEN LEFT TRIGGER TO THROW A GRENADE THEN PUSH B AGAIN IF YOU DO IT IN THAT ORDER BUT REALLY FAST YOU CAN HIT TWICE IN A ROW REALLY FAST.

just be carful to watch out for the grenade you just let go of or else it will kill you.

This trick is really easy.On the level Halo.

When you crash get out of the ship and you will see a bridge.

Cross the bridge and a enemy drop ship should be behind you forget the dropship run on the right and you will see two banshees get out you assault riflle.

Shoot the second banshee make it blow up and the other banshee should crash, and an elite will fall out but you can't drive but you can flip it over.

After you get to the ledge get a wart hog in there first...

You have to look at the left and youll see a ledge with a light drive your warthog of to that ledge...

Then drive it off that and you'll be at the bottom it is pretty hard took me few times...

You need two players to do the this trick.When you get drop off by the ship continue through the game until you get to the first bridge.Get to second floor on th bridge and look behind you there is a little edge.The edge looks like a .. V..get on it and kill your partner really fast. Look down there is another edge jump you might slip off but your partner will telloport on the the edge look around and there should be big rocks on the bottum and jump you must slide on the wall and hit the rocks you might die it is really hard to do but you must keep doing to get it right. Thats how you get on the bottum with out no covenant and if you do it really fast you can probably can ride the pelican whens it land and see it crashed.How to Get the three banshees first you need to us the the hint thing that say no covenant thing.continue the game until you have to bandedthe marines but dont go in the door were you go up the elevator.There is a banshee some were in that ariea go back were you see abig tower go all the way on the top on the tower there should be banshee there.Keep going back when you almost get the warthog the is a door on the side on the mountinand a banshee there you go.

Make a game so u have 400% health and infinite grenades.

Get a rocket launcher

Throw two plasma grenades one the same spot.

Then jump above them and shoot a rocket.

If done correctly you will go so high u respond in while you in the air.

This won't really help you through the game but is fun to do.

First, make sure you play multiplayer co-operative with a newbie or a gullible friend. Get to the Assault on the Control Room or any other level with Banshees.

Quickly get into a Banshee and fly up as far as you can go. Note: do NOT let your friend into a Banshee, if they do, shoot them down.

Once you are high up, let the Covenant kill your partner or if there aren't any shoot them dead.
Once dead fly as fast as possible upwards as high as you can go (unless you've done so already).

Your partner will respawn near you, which is outside of the Banshee a few hundred feet in the air.

They will plummet to their death over and over and over again as long as you stay up high.

Have fun!

Get a tank, and find those area's where they incline to a rock wall (there is 2 of them).

Slowly and carefully drive the tank up the rock ramp and where the road splits, go right.

Back the tank into the alcove so you can ramp. Now find a ghost and drive it up there. Back it up far enough so you don't go over the edge. Now ramp off the tank.

If did right, you should be on a white, blank area.You can go off near the halo, but of course there is an invisible wall.

You can walk around and snipe people out too.

Use snipers against scorpions.

If you're too close, you can try bombing it to death with grenades.

But the most effective is the rocket launcher.

On the maw right when you start go to the second life boat dock just like the one you came in on (this is alot easier on co-operitave mode) jump out and have your friend stay there and wait for you to respwan and keep on doing this after the fifth time one of you shoot up while jumping and the wait after your buddy respawns and in the life boat pod dock that you came in on will be closed up sentinals after a while they will open and most likely kill you because there is at least twenty of them.

If you stand on the top of the room in which the shotguns and heath packs are and some one is standing on the bridge across the ditch you can jump down and mele them in the back to kill them instantlly (and meles to the back will kill an opponent instantally)

Go to the Library level and when you are safe from flood shoot the Monitor. If you do he will say something. If he does't, or if you want him to say something else just shoot him again

LIGHT BLUE: Light blue Elites are weak,thats why they're usually invisable.DON'T WORRY they're fairly easy to see.

BLUE:Blue Elites are one step up from weak,they're the average joe in an average world.

RED: Red Elites are Just like the Blue ones only stronger,watch out.

YELLOW:Yellow elites are the man,never invisable,usually carry laser swords,much braver than Red,and they're pretty much the strongest.

BLACK:Black info is for the beginers to find out on they're own.

To defeat the Hunters easy you will have to wait till they attack, then shoot them in the back with a pistol and it will take them down in one shot.

Everyone has been telling me library is the hardest level, and I think so too.

It can become easier though if you make a few adjustments.

First, always have a shotgun for close range, the flood do not easily die by rapid faring guns.

Have a pistol or rocket launcher for long range. The flood are HORRIBLE long rang so you can take them out before they get to you.

Kill the people that pop far away or they will act as a genade placed next to you.

Be carefull too because the only way you can tell they are coming is by radar or sight, they will not warn you by firing at you (obviously because they don't have guns).

Wow. I'm shocked that no one has put up the infinite ammo glitch. Okay, this glitch only works with Human weapons, and it doesn't always work with the shotgun.

Once you are using a human weapon and have have wasted ammo, don't reload yet. Go to a spot where there's a gun on the floor. Hit X to start the reload sequence, and then immedietly switch that gun with the gun on the floor.

You will continue to hear the reloading sound, however. Once the reloading sequence sound is over, pick the gun up again, and it will have reloaded without taking ammo from your overall stockpile.

This works great with guns like the sniper rifle where ammo is scarce.

This trick doesn't always work with the shotgun, unless you switch it with a gun on the ground immedietly before the little sequence of putting in new shells starts.

When you are playing any level in split screen( or anywhere, for that matter) and everyone is invisible, people might not realize this simple hint. DO NOT look on your opponent's screen if they fire at you. Then you can't see where you're going. Your radar was put in for a reason! It is a lot easier using your radar than your opponent's screen.

(Note: If someone dosen't know this hint, don't tell them and you will rule invisible matches!)

I can't believe no one ever put this glitch in before.

This works with all human weapons except for the shotgun, which is harder to do.

When you are running low on ammo in your current clip, hit reload, BUT BEFORE IT IS DONE RELOADING

I think this cheap way to play capture the flag has been mentioned before but oh well.

In sidewinder take a ghost to the place where the invisibility power up is.
.Face your right side to the three collumns.
.Go as far to your left as possible.
.Go full speed to the right and get out a couple of seconds before u hit the collumns.
.If done correctly the ghost will force your body through the wall.

Note: on one side there is a wall that makes a nice marker of where to get off.

If you've seen a cheat for this level before don't use it because you walk through the whole level and a door is locked. waste of time!

This one isnt as big but it doesnt require you to do as much. when it says "If i had a super weapon" kill all of the guys on the bridge and the reinforcements. on one of the sides there will be a rising walkway on where you finish the level.

Jump straight at it and run forward so you dont lose as much health. keep walking straight up it until it merges into a skinnier one.

Right after it gets skinny walk off slowly to one of the sides and hold in the crouch button.

You should not lose health.

All you have to do is finish up the last part of the level. Don't worry about the tank, it shouldn't be able to hit you.

If you find yourself in a rather large battle and you need to reload, then switch weapons and reload later.

If both your weapons need reloading then gaet out your handgun and use meelee attacks.
