Now, I play Halo 2 a lot more than I should, but the bright side to that is that I have discovered a sh!t load of gltiches. Now these aren't those gltich land kind of things, they're straight up in the middle of no where glitches. Now this first one isn't really a glitch, it's just to get you stuck in the middle of something you can't get out of. First you must get the sputnik skull. Then you have to make it through the first area on Outskirts (If your stupid and don't know what I meen, the part with the two Hunters.)Then once you gte to the Jackles let you are team take care of those Jackles, while you jump up onto those two boxes witht he can on top of it and get on that ledge. Face down and throw a FRAGMENT grenade benieth of you, wait about 2 seconds and jump and kind of move forward in the air so you land on another ledge that is above you. Let your shields recharge. Do not jump onto the broken bridge! That will be a waste of your time! Ok, this next part makes my memory sort of a blurr, so if it's not true give me a bogus report and I'll try and find a new way to get to it. Then face down yet again and do the same previous actions and if the grenade is powerful enough and this isn't a load of crap, then you should land on the roff of the building. If you just barley miss it cause your feet were streched out then when you fly up into the air press the crouch button and move forward in the air and hold the crocuh button and you'll make the jump. You must move quickly and when I say quickly, I meen you better be hurting your fingers cause your moving so fast. You do not want to miss the pelican. Then once the pelican arrives or if it is already there, back up run and jump. You should just barely make the jump and you'll land on part of the pelican. Move around on top of it and then guess what? It'll start moving. Sadly it disappears once you get to the boundry and you fall into a small area where you are trapped and grenade jumping won't help.

In the begginning were the captain hands you the pistol and says that it is not loaded well after you get ammo for the pistol return to the area were the captain gave it to you then you shoot him cortana will say what are you doing and the doors will close and marines will come out and kill you

Alright heres what you do, you go in co-op mode on assault on the control room, you play the level normally until you get to a certain point. When you kill the first pair of hunters and go over the bridge, there is a door, go through that and it should say "loading done". Get one person to wait here and the other to go back and retrieve the cloaking (for those who don't know, the clocking is near the turret behind the boxes). When one person picks up the cloaking device, count to 3 and get the other person to teleport you using the loading done section. You need to teleport through it around 4-6 times.

P.S. You will also get infinite ammo while you do this cheat, but infinite ammo wears out when you swap weapons or go into vehicles.

Ok play longest on multiplayer and set weapons as rockets and infinate granades.Ok now just start throwing grenades every where!!Eventully you won't even be able to see!!!if you play with more than two people set the helth as high as it goes and then not even a rocket can stop you!!!!!

Ok first go to the level where you meet the flood at any difficulty at the start your in the pelican keep holding down the backwards button if you jump out if the ship jump back in and hold down till the plane stops at another point this should be on the cliffs of the level.
1. Get out and face the way the pelican is.
2. Walk forward till you see a corner with a hill that you can't walk up.
3. Turn right and walk forward and eventually you will see a random marine standing there.

1. Go on legendary or heroic on the maw level.
2. When you get up to the bit just before you go in the room were your meant to blow up the ship you will see two arrows one says "engineneering" and "amoury" go the way the amoury arrow is points.
3. When you get inside the amoury you will see tons of rockets and shotguns. At the end of the room you will see a locked door.
4. Go towards it and then some invisible flood come out.

This glitch will make it so there are no covenant through the whole level

STEP 1 go on to co operative and go on to the level assault on the control room

STEP 2 once you go outside then jump off the bridge as close to the wall as possible and you will end up on a ledge

STEP 3 kill player two and then immediately jump off again and try to slide on the snow covered ledge near the bottom so that player two will come back to life on the ledge make him jump off and he should survive and then you will be at the bottom.
Look as hard as you can you won't find any covenant for the rest of the level
I know It works I try it every time

If an incoming enemy has thrown a plasma grenade at you, wait until the last moment, then throw your own plasma grenade. If done right, the other person's grenade will stick to yours and when it hits the enemy, they will be hit for TWICE the normal damage. Hey, it's more fun than dodging or letting it hit you!

On the levle Librarylook at the cxenter of the huge elevator and there will be a 4 leaf clover in the middle of the circle

Ok when you go 2 the first door that locks get you're plasma grenades and don't worry about the others cept the gold elite stick him and he will die but don't kill 1-2 of the grunts on you're way up they will b frozon on the ramp they will unfreze after cpt keys is done talking bibi

First of all this can only work on co-op.
Ok on the level Guilty Spark 343 there will be a cut scene at the beginning.
You and you start using the grenade button repeatedly and don't stop. Once you land the ship you will throw a grenade.Dont forget to have your partner to get out of the ship.
The grenade will cuase you to stay in your seat and not move.
When the Ship takes off you will still be in it feel free to now look around the level.
Below you will see covenant but if you shoot at them it will not work becuase your gun is pointing towards the ground.
Once the ship lands again have your partner through a grenade at the ground and kill himself he will respawn by you. Now have him kill you so you can get out to.You both are now outside the level stay near the edges and don't fall off the cliff area your on. If you walk far enough you will see a dead flood body lying on the ground. REmember you might not see him your first time cuase it's really foggy.
After that keep on walkingand evantually in the middle of no wear ther is a marine standing still but you can't kill him or move him he dosent even appear as green on you cross hair.

On the final level in the short cut tunnel that the front blows off of go through there and take the turn on your left behind a load of flud bodies is a random grunt who says somthing along the lines of: If we don't get off this ship soon we all going to be biiiiigggg space dust heeheee!!! Then he just sits there like a lemon following you with his head. Have fun with mister funky grunt!

You can actually kill a Hunter by beating the crap out of it with your gun.

Every one with the cheat for killing the flood with a shot from a shotgun,every knows that will work. I found out that no matter what, two shots from a human pistol will kill them.

NOTE:This doesn't work for plasma pistols.
When you need to reload go over to another gun then press x once to reload and before it finishes then HOLD x to swap your gun for the one on the ground. Your gun should continue reloading while it's on the ground. Then swap for it again and your gun will have the clip full but you won't have wasted anymore bullets.

On sidewinder on 2 player get a tank and put it by the teleporter on the mountain near the base with no bridge go to the left side and put the snow wall then get a ghost and ride up the tank and you will be on top of the level

One easy way to win a multi-player match is to use the 3 shot head kill.
It works with the pistal (UNSC or Human pistal).
When you get the pistal find some one and shoot them 3 times in the head to kill them (this works really well if you don't have the fancy stuff such as the rocket launchers, snipers, shotguns, ect.) It is a fun and easy way to win your opponets. Don't tell anyone who doesn't know how to use this trick and rack up the kills in your killing spree with the pistal (I would rank this one of my top 5 favorite weapons). Note:This also works on Halo 2.

NOTE: must be in co-op
Go to any loading point(it wont work in some levels/i.e. Keyes/)where you can just walk back an forth and it keeps loading, now have one player charge a plasma pistol. After it starts shaking violently(about ten seconds)have the other player walk over the loading point(if it doesnt work you will know because it will still be shaking) but if it does work the pistol will stop shaking.Now release the trigger, your ammo will not deplete. Plasma weapons will still overheat(if they can) but will never run out of ammo.It works for any weapon(i like the rocket launcher >:P).

step 1. Get a Scorpian tank set up for the way you wish to glide air for 10 seconds or more.
step 2. Grab a ghost and ride it over to the tank.
step 3. Drive the ghost towards any side of the scorpian tank.

DONE!

P.S Try to invent tricks like a grab, which you can do by exititng the ghost mid-air and getting back in fast. 3 times is the most I've got.

(This cheat is mostly workful for needler) Go to the level with the beach and you land in sand because the pelican drops you off in there go to the spot where there is a door with a few grunts and a red guy I think its a hunter well before going in there hold your needler then run up and down the checkpoint 7x's (when your screen turns yellow and says checkpoint) Then shoot with your needler and see if when you reload if you still have all your carridges if this cheat doesnt work this may need a few more attempts.

While driving in a Ghost, hold A. This is fun when you drive off rocks you'll go flying!!!

This code is good to trick your friends. Drive the tank over where the portals go (Not where it goes to another portal but where you can't go back through it). Make sure its under the middle part of the tank and not near the sides or where the gunner is. Next take your guy back to where the portal is that u came through and go through it. If you do it right you will go through the tank but not in it.

If you take the other person and make them go in the tank (BUT DO NOT MOVE) You will see the guy get in the cage of the tank! If you make the Game type have Invisability He will not see u when ur under the tank. This is good to use if you ask your friends to start the game you just began so you'll be perfectly hidden while hes running around with her head loose! (Make sure u start his guy right where it usualy began). If your friend figures out where you are, you know he/she is cheating.

When you Get the Warthog through the door that the Elite with the Sword was make sure that you have two Marines in the back. Go through the part where there is a video very slowly and make sure the Warthog does not fly of the edge.

When you do this Master-Chief will die durring the Video While the Marines are still in the Warthog, Master-Chief will reapear, his old body will disapear and his ammo and everything will still be there, while your new guy still has all of the weapons and grenades.The Marines will be completely Frozen and The Aliens will not shoot at them!

PS: They will not come out of the Warthog when you ask them to!

Hey everyone. When you get back in the Cryo tube make sure you're standing up, when you're standing make sure you're facing inside the tube and wait for a check point.

Then press these combinations: up, then down and then A, X at the same time or Down, Up and A, X at the same time to either fall through the floor or get on the ceiling. If you get on the ceiling follow it untill you get to were those one guys die from the Elites.

Then jump on the lights, then jump on the other lights (or try to). You will be past the level but you won't be able to go on because instead of a locked door it is pitch black.

Hey everyone. If right when you get out of your cryo chamber jump right back in and Kneel down.Then Look at the chamber and you'll see Master-Chiefs Suit.(ps:If you keep kneeling down while looking up the chamber it will act like a latter.Then Keep trying to jump and you'll jump out of it or go through the wall!

On the Assault on the Control Room level, when you get the Scorpion, continue on through the small cave. When you leave the cave, there should be a small cliff. Look over that cliff and destroy the Covenant tank. After taking care of all the Covenant, ahead (To the right, I think) you should see a tunnel leading lower into the ground large enough for a vehicle *ahem* the Scorpion. It will save the checkpoint and from behind you, a Banshee will attack. Kill the Banshee. There are also two Hunters deeper in the tunnel guarding the Blast door. Kill them if you like but this is purely optional. (unless they are attacking you.) On top of the tunnel, there will be a small "mountain". On top of that mountain is another Covenant tank. If you haven't killed it already, then I suggest you should. Just move back and move on top of the snow hill surrounded by a few trees. Destroy it. Now, move toward the tunnel but to the right so the Scorpion touches the wall. Get out, and make your way up the mountain(Jump on the Scorpion and keep jumping your way up.) You'll be on top of the mountain and nearby the Covenant tank you just destroyed. Move further ahead and you should see the TADA! Floating Tree! Very bizarre glitch. Not used for anything much but eyecandy but you can "play" with it. If you crouch underneath it and look up, the wood disappears! Only leaving the leaves. You have now discovered one of the (maybe) many or few glitches of the game. Be proud of yourself =)

I figured out a way to have infinite ammo w/ any Earth-based weapon (Assult rifle, pistol, etc.), which works in between those long stretches depending on what weapons you have. To do this there needs to be another weapon laying on the ground; either Earth or Covenant doesn't matter. After emptying whats lef of your clip quickly pick the other weapon before Master Chief finshes reloading. Wait for about 5 to 7 seconds and pick up your orginal weapon completely reloaded without going into your clips. But note that this is a little bit harder to do with the shotgun due to the fact that it takes him a shorter time to reload.

In a previous cheat it says that you have to drive the Worthog into the doorway to be able to get through befor the Covenant lock it. This is not true. There are two other ways(that I know of) to do this.

1. Kill all the covenant in the room and allow them to lock the door. Then bring the worthog down to the door. Park it so that the drivers side is facing the door. Get out of the worthog. If done properly you will end up in one of many places.
a. Inside the wall (just walk towards the other side)
b. On top of the hallway on the other side of the door. (just walk towards the place where the cut scene starts: when MC kicks the rock off edge)
c. On the other side of the door. (good job!)

d. You will fall three floors down and meet your death.

There are many other possibilities.

2. Be in co-op mode and drive to the door. Back the worthog into the door and get out. Have your partner get in the gunners position. Stand behind him and have him try to push you through the wall with the gun.
(note: I have only accomplished this once so it is recommended that you use the first way.)

To do this cheat you need to have on person complete the level that you are
stuck on. To start go onto co-operative and 1 player chooses your file and the
other player chooses the file with the completed level.
Next choose the level after the level that you want to skip
and (e.g if your stuck on guilty spark choose the library), complete it.
Then when you reload your game on solo you will have access to the level that
you completed on co-op, (in this case you will have the library without even doing
guilty spark).

Hello, first I would like to say Master Cheif you are not the only one who beat the game on legendary. Most of you know when you beat the last level (MAW) on legendary you get a movie with a marine and an elite. If you beat the first level (Pillar of Autumn) you will also get a movie. You see echos (BIG plane that drops you off) unloading warthogs. Plenty of tanks. Alos you see a group of marines with their squad leader. It is pretty cool. You should try it out.

Alternate ending sequence

Successfully complete the game in campaign mode on the legendary difficulty setting to view a different and longer ending sequence.



Faster reloading

To reload most weapons faster, press X, then shortly after that press B to melee. Note: For the shotgun this will cause you to stop reloading all together.



Extra shotgun ammunition

Take a shotgun that has 12 shots and 0 clips. After you shoot it a few times, you should be able to reload manually. You can do this about ten to twenty times.



Faster Warthog weapon use

This trick works best in multi-player mode. Drive the warthog in a straight line. When you see an enemy, jump out of the Warthog. Tap X repeatedly and sidestep to the right. If you are quick enough, you will exit the Warthog and jump on the LAAG gun without stopping, while the Warthog slows down. This also works well on ice, because you keep sliding.



Defeating Covenants

When Covenant dropship is getting ready to unload a group of Covenants, throw a grenade into the door as it opens. The blast will kill several of the enemies since they are all in one area. There are places (especially in the first level) where a groups of Covenants are, waiting for you to barge in and start shooting. If you can, sneak to the aliens and throw a grenade into their midst. It is best when a plasma grenade sticks to a Grunt, because he will run behind the rest of his companions. One simple grenade can take out five Covenants.



Defeating Flood types

Do not try to take out any Flood types with a sniper rifle. It will simply go through their bodies without killing them. The weapon of choice is the shotgun. You can take them down with one shot. Remember, the closer they are, the faster they fall. On the small crawling Flood, use your assault rifle in short controlled bursts. Once one pops, it will also pop the ones nearby. Save shotgun and pistol ammunition for the working class Flood to drop them fast. It is also a good idea to hit them with your gun after they fall to make sure they are dead. On the fat Flood, use the shotgun to pop them, then clean up with rifle. When you first meet the Flood, they will outnumber you in groups. For the large Flood, use a shotgun, rocket launcher, or most importantly, a fragmentation grenade. Do not use a plasma grenade because they will run towards you and kill you. When you get attacked by the Flood, after you make them fall down the first time, shoot their head off while they are on the ground. They will not get back up.



Defeating Flugs

In the later levels of the game you will encounter new enemies called Flugs. These enemies will be small at first, but they will attack and control anything alive. Use a shotgun on these baby Flug as they tend to group in large numbers. By using the shotgun it will send a storm of bullets and kill most of them that are around. Use a shotgun on the possessed Flug, and it will kill most of them in one shot. This is made easier by the fact that most of them carry shotguns.



Defeating Grunts

When the Grunts are sleeping you can beat them to death with the butt of your gun without waking up any of the other Grunts. You can usually kill a four to seven of them before an alien spots you. They start sleeping in level 5, Assault on the Control Room. Just remember not to shoot or they will wake up.



Defeating Hunters

Normally Hunters are the hardest Covenant to kill, due to their powerful armor and shields. However, even the strongest armor has weak spots. If you look at their necks or backs, you can see an orange spot. Aim for it. One shot with any gun will kill them if you hit them there. The best way to kill a hunter is to use a sniper rifle to zoom in on the orange spot. If you are being chased by a Hunter or an alien with a sword, run backwards while facing the alien. Jump when they try to slash you. Throw a plasma grenade at the alien and it will stick to him. Turn around and run in a zig-zag pattern to make sure he does not catch you in the explosion. If you are playing cooperative multi-player mode, have player two run in front of the Hunter until his back is turned to player one. While the Hunter is trying to turn player two into mush, have player one run up to the Hunter's back and melee attack the orange spot. The Hunter should die with one hit. You can kill the Hunters in a head-on assault. Get in close and use the pistol or shotgun. Aim for the head holding down the trigger. Your first shot(s) will knock back the head, exposing the unarmored neck. One shot in the neck and they will die.



Defeating Jackals

Use a photon weapon to destroy a Jackal's shield quickly. When you encounter a Jackal, run up and hit it with your weapon or get out a gun that uses bullets, not energy. When you are a far way away from Jackals and have a sniper, they will sit in the defense position and leave very little uncovered. You will notice that on the right or left is a small notch in the shield. Aim for it and the Jackal population will be severely decreased.

U go to the entrence to where u go between a

tree up at the top there is a rock on the left wall at the top of the entrence path.



Park the worthog back end against the wall next to the rock

(left side of rock) u have to have a freind or marine in the back then there should be a rock in the middle at the front end of the car when u back it up.



Get on top of tht rock then junp on top of your freind or marines head.



Then on top of the cliff above u and youll be on top its easy to snipe enemys that way.



But the hardest thing that any of u can think of.(to get freind up there is to kill himself and he will worp up there with him.



U can also jump on trees and tree to tree.
