If you want to play a game of catch with your chao, first, get a ball. Then, when your chao wants to play with it, drag it away from the chao - DO NOT PICK IT UP OR THE CHAO WILL STOP PLAYING - then, hit it back to the chao. When the chao hits it, it should come back to you. Just keep this up untill you get bored.

Okay my friend wanted me to do this for him okay when you your chao is running for a fruit when he bends down and grabs it take it snd he will still be eating but he will be eating air but still gaining skills.

Here is how to get certian chao

SONIC CHAO: Give your chao nothing but green chaos drives and nuts off the trees make it neutral and after it comes out of it's cocoon it will be green with three spikes BUT! Don't fret becaus after it's first natural mating season if you give it lots and lots of chaos drives it shoul start to turn blue and grow three more spikes.

SHADOW CHAO: Same as a sonic chao but make it a dark chao.

NIGHTS CHAO: Okay, give a chao nothing but purple chaos drives and make it a neutral after it's first natural mating season if you start giving it lots and lots of purple chaos drives it should look more like nights.

REALA CHAO: Do the same as above but make it a dark chao

To get a Shiny Orange Chao without spending tons of rings is to breed a Shiny Blue chao with a regular Orange Chao.

Ok people keep saying, "there is no such thing as a sonic chao, only a metal sonic chao" well then how come I saw a sonic chao racing against me at lvl 3 in the jewel running race? It had the exact amount of spikes sonic had, it was blue, and it had a =) on it but eyes were closed happy looking! So this is profe that sonic chao are real. But I havent managed to get one yet.

Flame, Out

First you buy an expensive item like an apple or worn out pan then you save and exit from the chao garden.

Come back and get the item go to the Black Market and select sell right at the sound of the cha ching press reset you'll notice you have the money from selling and still have the item.

Keep repeating this to get RICH!

To make invisible chao you have to mate certain chao. They are invisible other than the mouth, the wings, and the ball / ring.
These are ways to make them:
Shiny yellow and any jewel chao, shiny white and any jewel chao, shiny pink and any jewel chao, and shiny lime green and sapphire jewel chao. Jewel chao are shiny chao that cannot be bought in sonic adventure 2 battle, but they can be bought in the tiny chao garden of sonic advanced 1,2, and 3.

Translucent chao are chao you can see through, obviously.
These are ways to make them:
Mate shiny green chao and a jewel chao makes a green clear chao.
Mate shiny blue chao and a jewel chao to make a normal colored chao.

There may be more ways to make invisible and translucent chao.

Want to fly through space?

First you have to go to the Crazy Gadget level go to the big orange room with the three gravity switches on it. Slide down the rail about one-third of the way and jump. If done right, the gravity should stay the same and you should fall through space forever. You have to reset the level to get back.

In cannon's core get to the sonic portion and do the normal procedure. When you get to the second time stop switch (to stop the rushing water) and when you are on it use spin dash and spin to the water.

If you did it right the switch will not be beeping.when you get to where you slide down to the goal ring just run to the first ledge.

(this water stopped too) at the first ledge jump off but use the homing attack to get back on. If you did it right you will get an underside view and you can't move. (if you try sonic will start tapping.)

Eventually you will drown! Crazy huh?!

As soon as they stick thier arms out press "b" and you should roll under them.

When you get to the top of the highest pillar with Rouge, hit the switch and wait until it is at the full extent at the side, hurry and jump to the side and use drill drive to get to the bottom.It will take a few tries.Next there are 2 glitches.

1.When you get to the first switch, hit it and go back behind the robots arms.When the time starts again,get close,spin dash,let go of the action button and when your just about to the egde,hold the control stick up and jump and if done correctly,you should've made it to the other side and no noise of the switch.

2.When you get to the second switch,hit it,go back a few steps,and spin dash and if you make it to the orange liquid and no ticking sound at all,you did it correctly.That's all for now,ill submit when I find another glitch.

First get any kind of matallic chao from sonic advance
Then evolve it into a nuetral chao.

Then get any shiny chao and make it
Nuetral too.Then mate those two chao together and you will get a
Translucent chao.

PS the chao's wings, eyes, and it's mouth if it has one

In Hero stage 10: Hidden base, there is actually NO 3RD CHAO CONTAINER. Finding it hard to believe? Well search for yourself. You won't find it...ever.


I do believe you can still collect the level's rare halffish animal though. It is located in small maze-like area where you have to destroy the rock blocks and rock walls with eggmans stupid pictures. It's on right half of the maze. Search and collect.

If you have Shadow as your game's screen theme, whenever you enter the "sound test" room, Shadow will say "I'm not interested!"

I have successfully discovered a new omochao phrase!

Okay, in The first mission of White Jungle, as soon as you see the goal ring in sight, do not take the bungie vine. Instead, head forwards a way till you see one of those things to your left that you can sumersault under.

There will also be a chao container and a guard robo. There will also be a line of rings to light dash through; take this line of rings to the goal ring, but aim away from the giant ring onto the ground surrounding it.

Omochao is sitting in one of the corner's of the small square you that the goal ring rests on.

Pick him up and jump through the ring. Omochao will now say: "This log reminds me of San Fransisco!"

What is up with that??? A log that omochao thinks looks like a city in California??? Hahaha. This is a sign!!! Everytime you successfully reach the goal ring with shadow or sonic, WITH an omochao in hand, you will hear omochao say something really weird!!!

Try to do it in all of sonics and shadows stages!!! I promise you it will be fun to try to do it in all of their stages!!! Please please please do this!!! I swear it that it is a worth while endeavor!!!

This is a radical cheat. It actually encourages the thought that shadow and gang are real celebrities. When in a chao garden, simple pick up an item and place it in front of you, but when I say in front of you, I mean in the way of the camera, so that it blocks the view of your character on the screen.

Now, turn about face, or face the opposite direction of the object, and while moving very slowly it will seem some sort of invisible force is moving the object, it's the CAMERA MAN!! Lol, no not really, but there is the invisible camera following each character.

Let's say you put a chaos drive behind you, so that it get's in the way of your view of shadow in the television, moving away slowly in the opposite direction while the chaos drive is still blocking shadow, an invisible force, "the camera men" or maybe the TV screen....will move the chaos drive towards you until it slides off of the screen from the force of the Camera man....it's difficult to explain, but it's there.

Sorry if what I am trying to describe is a little jumbled. ^__^

Omochao is always one to give you help right? But everyone has questions right? Even Omochao...

To hear omochao ask a really unusual question, go to Crazy Gadget. So far this is the only place I know omochao will ask these kinds of questions. Before touching the Goal Ring, pick up omochao and carry him with you to the goal ring, he's sitting there next to the goal ring...

He will ask a rhetorical question as the mission complete jingle is played: "Hmm, haven't I seen this game somewhere before?"
The funny thing is, not only does omochao do this in SA 2 battle, but he also does this in SA 2 for dreamcast as well...

I will try to find more of the small easter eggs if I can.

You know how you can get points just for grinding sometimes. Well here's an extra 200 point bonus you probably never realized.
Ever notice the single rail next to the stairs after you finish boarding down the steep street?

It's not there just to keep people from falling over on their face. As soon as you land after boarding use the homing attack on the rail when close enough to score a cool 200 points.

Do it quickly, because after 5 seconds or so, the opportunity vanishes. I know, it don't seem all that much. But it makes good practice for those more tricky grindings that require precision to score big. Trust me. It really does help. I already beat the game.

Twice. But I only beat it on dreamcast, which is an amazing feat considering you have to have those outdated VMU's and a lot of spare time AND patience to do it. Not to mention dedication. When you play the game as much as me, you will notice the smaller stuff.

When you play as Sonic, it is vital to know how to gain your bearings again to move quickly, Sonic is all about speed and agility. Here's how to quickly get back to your feet after being launched about and around from the speed boosters.

It's actually quite simple really, just use the bounce attack and Sonic will stop in his steps and gain quick footing. A good place to use this is during time attack on City Escape.

To shave of a second, instead of struggling with the camera angle after landing on the ground right in front of the goal ring, simply bounce attack and while in the air aim left at the goal ring with a homing attack.

It's a lot faster and more effecient.

When you beat all of rouges missions, you unlock a character that is in fact, not E-102 gamma, but a different character that goes waaay back to the Sega Saturn days of Sonic. This character was an unlockable in the Old sega saturn game known as "Sonic R."

That is where the character's origin is. Don't be confused though, they both look really similar, but they are in fact, not the same. This character's name is "Egg robo," or that at least that is what it was called in Sonic R. Just thought you fellow gamer's might want to know that. This is Dr. Eggman saying to remember: "it's just a game!"

Heh heh, this is Eggman with some interesting facts about the game. Small things you probably didn't notice. I will tell you about the stuff you may find somewhat interesting to know.

Okay, one of the first things I noticed about the game was the shadow under Dr. Eggman's feet whenever he hold a chaos drive in any chao garden. This is kinda weird so pay attention: in the dreamcast version of SA 2, whenever a character held an item that was really small, the item would appear to be floating between their hands, and the character didn't seem to actually be holding it, this was a constant case with Dr. Eggman in SA 2 for dreamcast. For instance, whenever Dr. Eggman picks up a partially eaten chao fruit, the fruit, which should be really small now in size, floats 4 ft.

Imbetween each of eggman's palms. Now, in SA 2 Battle for Gamecube, this glitch was apparently fixed, but it was only fixed for the part of eggman that you actually control; Eggman's shadow still does what it did in SA 2 for dreamcast, you see the silhouette of the previous eggman holding a really small item that is floating 4 ft. From either palm of his hands.

Pretty weird huh? Guess Sonic team forgot about that small thing huh? Lol. Actually that is all I can remember there was that was unique. I'll post another one of these when I can remember them.

Get a orange chao and give it a tiger.

As Metal Sonic (Highly recomended) Do the grind race and when your close to the pyramid and you land on your feet, try to dash up the pyramid. U CAN FLY!!!! (Well...sorta...)

If you get a regular chao and you repeditly press b every time a heart apperes on his head the color of him will turn darker with a dar person like shadow or lighter with sonic or a hero person

Okay my brother just found out another cool chao. We couldn't nessarily come up with a name that would fit so he just said knight chao.

Knight chao:
Okay you need it to be dark and flying.

Oh my gosh! I have a lot of chaos to talk about. But one thing I forgot to mention is the chaos I am using are the normal (Blue and yellow poka-dot egg) chao. Okay so here are the ones I have.

Shadow Chao:
This one I got by making it dark and highering only running. You only need it over 100 to be a running type but I got it higher. Don't higher anything else (You can higher stamina though because it doesn't matter on this game.) My chao has blue stripes instead of red but it looks like shadow.

Sonic chao:
I am calling this one a sonic chao because it looks like sonic but it is green. It needs to be neutral and running. In order to keep it neutral grow it one level with a hero then another level with a dark. Alternate like this and when yu feed it.

Shark chao:
This one is really cool. All you need to do is have it dark and swim type.

Tiger chao:
Again I am calling this one a tiger chao because it looks like a tiger. It is made by making it dark and power type. It is my favorite so far. Its tail is striped black and orange and so is it's arms.

Swimsuit chao:
I am calling this a swimsuit chao because when it grows up it looks like it is wearing a purple swimsuit. To get it you need it to be hero and running type.

Thats all for now. I am still trying to get a tails chao. If you want to see what it looks like go to youtube.com and look up tails chao. There is someone who has a tails chao that taped it doing a karate match. Also when my chaos are high enough I am going to try to tape them and put up the links here.

I am working on getting character chaos. Okay well right now I only have one but I would like to share. Shadow Chao: It needs to be a run type and dark.

I am pretty sure it only needs it's run above 100. Mine was at 200 but when you want them to be a type then they usually only need it to be higher then 100. As long as nothing else if higher.

Right now I am working on sonic tails and rouge and my friend is working on knuckles. When I find them out I will let you know.

I'm back ; ) Those of you who don't know I like to breed Chao well so far iv got two of them but I'm only putten in one.

If you breed a shiney Orange chao ( Angel) and a PLAIN white chao and the chao they breed it will be a weird goldish yellow chao with an orange spot on it's foot tail and the tip of it's head.

Go to emblum resluts and if you don't have all A, Press A and it will take you to that level you need A on. If you get A on it, it wll take to the next LEVEL NOT THE NEXT MISSION!!.....

I wasted sooo much time on that.....

Do hero story mode at the begining. When Sonic is on his board you can breifly see the cuffs. But durning the level, they are not on.

On Metal Harbor, play the game as normal. When you get near the end of the missile launch pad, instead of jumping onto the handle to fly up, jump into the air - off the platform, and a few floating machines appear. Use these to get over to another area of the platform which takes you to a special area ( but you have to use bouncers and ring lines to get there). It is difficult because the timer is counting down, and you only have about 5-7 seconds to get there.

I saw that everyone is confused on how to make a shadow chao, so here is the REAL way:

Get a whole bunch of green chaos drives (the best way to get them is by getting them on hard mode in Iron gate) buy a black chao and hatch it with shadow. Keep giving it green chaos drives (with shadow of course) until it starts to grow shadow's hair on the back of it's head(most the time it doesn't grow shadow's hair till it likes you and it's run is at level 20-30).keep feeding it fruits until it evolves. It should look like a minuature shadow without shoes and gloves.

Get A ranks on every mission with the character you want to get the costume for.

Allow the game to idle at the Press Start screen (meaning not to press start). After several demos, the Sonic Team logo will appear again and Tails will say Sonic Team!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is like a flute that you play at these certain locations with a miniature building. By playing the Whistle, special things appear like possibly platforms to jump across or for Sonic/Shadow a set of rings to Light Dash across - they usually lead to lives or Lost Chaos.

Sonic:
Go to Final Rush and make it past the sixth checkpoint. Right after it, there will be a long rail. Go on it, but once you see the two platforms on the left, jump off, onto them. Take the rocket there to another platform. The camera will switch to show a double platform with a spring. Jump over there and take the spring. Go down this platform to another one ahead. Now, the camera will change to face an incline. Go up it and you will see the Mystic Melody up ahead.

Tails:
In the Hidden Base Level, but you need the Bazooka for this one, too. When you go up the first pulley that takes you to a bunch of Kikis, go a bit into the next area. There will be two paths to take from here. The one to the right, which leads up and the lower one, blocked by four crates. Blow them up with your Bazooka and go into the enclosed room. The Mystic Melody is dead ahead.

Knuckles:
You'll need the Hammer Gloves to get this one. Go to Wild Canyon and go straight ahead, up the wind tunnel. From here, turn 90 degrees left and go forward into this passageway. Continue forward, until you reach the dead end with the statue. Climb up above the statue, until you reach a strange carving. Dig into this carving's center and you'll come out in a small, enclosed room where you'll find the Mystic Melody.

Shadow:
If you want it, get over to Final Chase. A bit after the third checkpoint, there's going to be many Gravity Tubes. Count them until you get to the fifth one. From here, there's going to be another Tube to your right, separated in the middle by an Electrical Fence. You normally go the bottom way, but this time; make a really high jump so that you land on the top section. Now, just go up the Tube to get to a spring, which will take you to a platform where you'll see the Ancient Light up ahead. Just go there and claim your prize.

Eggman:
Hey, both Tails' and Dr. Eggman's Mystic Melodies are in their only dessert levels... Another strange coincidence?!?... Anyway, this one's really, really easy, but you'll need the Hovering tool, the Jet Engine if you want to reach the platform where it is. At the very beginning, go onto the little spinning platform, but make sure to stay on one of the long thing's edges. When the long thing you're on gets to the very left, jump up really high and start Hovering towards your left. I know that the camera angle sucks, but that's for it to be hidden from normal view. Anyway, a second after you make your way there, you'll see where you're going, because the camera will move to show you. There's going to be a platform ahead, so try to land there. It shouldn't be hard at all, though. Once you land there, just make a few hops, up to the Mystic Melody.

Rouge:
The Pink Nails are a MUST to get this Upgrade. So, go get them first before you complain about not being able to dig :P. Go back to Rouge's first stage, Dry Lagoon. From where you start off, turn the camera 45 degrees right. See the wall up ahead? Glide over towards the little platform carved in the wall and climb up to the painting in the center of it. Now, move onto the little shield-type thing near the bottom and dig into it. You'll go into the wall and emerge on the other side. I don't really have to tell you how to get to the Mystic Melody from here, because it's right in front of you...
