In order to find certain Pokemon in the water, you need to do the Missingno glitch/cheat. In order to fing Pokemon like parasect, go into cerulean cave before you do the glitch.

If you have started the game over, then you can do this cheat. Do the Missing.no cheat and go to Cinnabar Island. When Surfing up and down, you will eventually find Mewtwo's at like level 132.

In the Fushia gym, there are invisible walls. If you look closely, there will be little white lines. The white lines indicate the location of the invisible walls, which means there is no wall in the way if there is no white line.

When the game says you are confused, press A. Before the question marks pop up, hold A until it says your Pokemon hsa attacked. There you have it.

Its true that missing.no can screw up your game BUT, he is a great Poke'mon to have. The only downfall is his Defense. The first number of his level is his defense. Example: level 80-Defense is 8, Level 100-10 Defense. But other than that, he has really good stats and is super strong.h

To find the egg hatching road fly to vermillin city and go up until you are toaching the river go 2 steps away for the end next to the end and now go down and up then there you go egg hatching road!!!!!!

Ok by now most of you will know the Missingo cheat it is ok to do so long as you don't catch it if you do many things can happen to your game the main thing is that your hall of fame will be completely ruined but other things can happen such as your save could delete it self stuff like that so by all means do the Missingo cheat just don't catch him

This isnt really a cheat, but a glitch in the game. You may need to start over to get Mew, but it is worth it.First you need fly, the third gym badge, a Pokemon lv 10ish and a Pokemon with sleep powder. North of cerulian city is a trainer with a lv 17 ish slowpoke, MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT FIGHT HIM, if you do, you can not get Mew also there is a gambler with some water Pokemon left of lavender town, don't fight him either.
Okay, get a flying Pokemon, a Pokemon with an attack with sleep powder or spore, a level 10 ish Pokemon like rattata, and a bunch of pokeballs, preferably great balls or ultra balls. Teach the flying Pokemon fly, then go to the first town you go into in the game with a Pokemon center, talk to the guy who shows you how to catch Pokemon and let him show you. Then fly to lavender town.save your game, then go west of lavender town, avoid the gambler and go right in front of the enrtence to the underground path. Go south and immidiately press the start button then fly to cerulian city, the gambler will see you as you leave. When you arrive in the town, your buttons will not work, don't be alarmed. Simply go north and let the slowpoke trainer see you so that it walks up to you, either that or talk to him, if your game freezes, restart and do the gambler thing a gain then try the other slowpoke trainer method. Defeat him and your buttons will work again. Fly back to lavender town, then go east and save your game at the entrance of the path to the route, when you enter the route, your menu will open, push b to close it (you have to push b or it wont work) When you close the menu, you will hear the traditional music and scene before a battle and after the scene is over you will see a Mew on the screen. Battle it with the lv 10 ish Pokemon you brought and when it is low enough on health, switch to you sleep powder/spore Pokemon and put it to sleep, then chuck great/ultra balls at it untill you catch it, now you have a mew.
This is tested and works, I don't know if it will work for yellow, but I have used it more than enough times for it to be believable. You don't need a game shark or anything, and it shouldn't ruin your game,

Ok you guys.... You can get Pinsir and Magmar in Pokemon Red without having to trade from Pokemon Blue. If you do the Mew thing to the most southeast engineer, you will get Magmar. If you do the Mew thing with the Gentleman closest to your Rival on the S.S. Anne, you will get Pinsir. I've been doing it since I found out and got many Pokemon. The gambler closest to Snorlax will give you a Missingno. If you go to the Bug Catcher on Route 6 that is closest to Vermilion City, You will get a Chansey. All of these Pokemon are level 7. I've gotten all of Route 25, Route 6 and Route 8. I accidentally battled the guy so I couldn't finish the S.S Anne area. However, you can't do the cheat on your Rival or any Gym Leader.

Yes we all know that you can catch missingno by talking to the coffee dude in viridian. Now, try this. Go to viridian city, talk to the coffee guy and SAY YES. Watch him catch the weedle. DONT TALK YO HIM AGAIN. FLY to FUSHIA and go south like your going to seafoam islands. GO TO SEAFOAM ISLANDS. Surf up and down THE BEACH. DONT GO PAST THE WHITE THINGS. Eventually, you will run into missingno. KEEP READING. Someone said that if you do missingno this way, ( run or kill him) you will eventually run into WILD MEWTWOS. I tried it and messed up. Tired of versing pokemon?heres a little tip

You can actually cut certain types of tall grass,it may take a little time but it's better then versing 100's of Pokemon while searching for the next place you want to go

Ok this is something that I tried 1st and it worked
I first found this out on accident that putting any unsellable items 6th in your pack doing the missingno. Cheat and it cloned and got me mad

Anyway if you want more than one aerodactyl or kabuto(or omanyte depending on the fossil you chose) put your fossil 6th in position and do the missingno. Cheat.
With your fossil 6th in your pack then you'll have 130 of it. Go to that doctor in cinnabar, where your so conveniently located, and give him your fossil.
Walk out the door and immediately go back in and do it again and you have you more fossil pkmn! More aerodactyls, kabutops, and/or omastars can be traded or used for an army
Use your imagination you find something

Ok so first you need to catch an abra. This can be done on route 8. To the west of nugget bridge theres a kid that says "i say your feat from the grass" don't fight him. With you're abra, right before he sees you, you need to press start and teleport. You should go to cerulean city. Go to the gym and fight the first trainer. Beat him, and walk up negget bridge. Your start menu will pop up. Just press b and you will be in a battle with Mew lv 7. Do the same thing only with any other person you can fight EXCEPT the guy you teleport from, and you should get a bunch of different pokemon. (i did the other trainer in the gym and got staryu and I also have a lv 7 nidoqueen and a cubone and I still havn't gotten to bills house yet.) I'm guessing that if you teleport to any other Pokemon centre, you can fight other trainers and fly to nugget bridge. If the last part doesn't work I'm srry but I'm just assuming.

Everyone knows that missing no will duplicate one of your items by now , and everyone knows where he is. Well he actualy does 2 things. I noticed a long time ago, that, wherever you were last befor you do the missing no cheat, those are the pokemone that will show up in his area. For example if you are in the safari zone. Then do the missing no cheat. Pokemon like rhyhorn, or nitoking will show up in the water. You may think "so what" well, in the safrari zone you can't use masterballs....well you can anywhere else. This is how I caught a tarous (my very last Pokemon to make all of them) afte ri got him, I went and got my certificate :)

Look you need concentration, time, pokeballs , and good pokemon.
First go to route 3 and catch a jigllypuff that has the move sing (very important) and continue your journey normaly until you get to the city with misty as the gym leader. Don't battle the trainer on that cape thing (you know just before you have to surf to get to mewtwo.) catch a abra that knows teleport (every abra does) with a jigglypuffs sing and there is a high catch rate. After catching the Pokemon save and go infront of that trainer I mentioned. Just before he can walk up to you press start and use teleport. Your start button will be disfunctioned and walk balk on to that route and Mew will appear. His level varies from 7-10.

I. Materials

- Calcium

II. What To Do With Your Low Level Pokemon:

- Take the rare candies and level it up (make sure that it's special is under 21.) Then use the calcium to get it's special up to exactly 21. That is the standard decimal number for 15 in the hexadecimal system used by this game. 15 is the number that determines what species the Pokemon is. In this case, the number 15 represents Mew.

III. Step-By-Step Instructions

1. Fly to Lavender Town.

2. Go left into Route 8 and stand in front of the door to the entrance of the underground tunnel connecting Celadon City and Lavender Town (don’t fight the gambler who is standing in front of it.)

3. Save your game, just in case.

4. Make sure that your Pokemon with a special of 21 isn’t in the first place of your party. You don’t want him leveling up on accident.

5. Use a max repel.

6. Make sure that you are directly under the door in alignment with the gambler below.

7. Walk down one step and press the ‘pause’ button before the gambler sees you.

8. Go to ‘Pokemon’ and select your Pokemon that knows fly and fly to Fuchsia.

9. The exclamation point will appear above the gambler’s head as if he has seen you and you will fly away.

10. Now you won’t be able to pause the game because the game thinks that the battle is still going on back at Route 8.

11. Now head out of Fuchsia towards Route 15.

12. Stay in the top layer of grass the whole time and don’t get into any trainer fights yet. While you are walking through the grass, the max repel is making it to where you cannot get into any fights.

13. Head all the way over to Route 14 and make sure that you go inside the left side of the trees.

14. Travel up until you get to 2 bikers facing right and a patch of grass that you have to cut a tree down in order to get to.

15. Fight one of the bikers (this will work with any trainer you want) and make sure that they have to move in order to get to you.

16. Defeat the trainer and now you will be able to pause.

17. ‘Pause’ your game and switch the Pokemon with a special of 21 as the first Pokemon in your party.

18. Use ‘cut’ on the tree and enter the grass area.

19. Walk around and in a short while you will find a ditto (you will only find a ditto because the effects of max repel make it to where you can only find rare pokemon. Ditto is the only rare Pokemon around Route 14.)

20. Attack it with your Pokemon with 21 special and it will use transform and copy your stats including special.

21. Run away from the ditto and immediately fly back to Lavender Town.

22. Go left into Route 8 again and right when you cross the border between Lavender and Route 8, the game will automatically pause, press ‘B’ to un-pause the game and it will automatically go into a battle in which a Level 7 Mew will appear. You will be able to repeat this multiple times to get as many Mews as you want.

Do the glitch city thing then get stuck in the cave. Use surf and keep surfing up youll find cylinder things. Touch themm and your screen would get fuzzy and your game will freeze.

Here's the Mew Glitch:

Stand in front of the entrance to the Celadon City-Lavender Town Underground Path. (You're on Route 8, which is west of Lavender)

Save the game. Step down and press "START" really fast. If he saw you, reset. Go to "POKéMON" and use Fly. Fly to the town where Misty is the Gym Leader. Go up Nugget Bridge. Go the way to Bill's house and battle the Youngster with a level 17 Slowpoke. (Make sure he walks to you or the game will freeze)

After beating him, Fly to Lavender (the Start button brings up the Menu now)

Walk west of Lavender and your Menu will pop-up. Press the "B" button. Mew will appear. He is level seve. Enjoy.

You must have Fly and Surf and you must be as far as Cinnabar Isle.

1. Go to Viridian city.

2. Talk to the OLD MAN and watch him catch the weedle.

3. Fly to Cinnabar.

4. Surf along the right coast and you should encounter Missingno. (and other over level 100 Pokemon depending on your name)

Turn on your GameBoy and when the words:GameBoy flash up, press up and B and the colour of the game will be dark brown. Go to Rock Tunnel and go in and you will see yourself, Trainers and I think pokeballs.

This isn't really a cheat, but it's a great way to start a new game. All you need is a link cable and two people who want to start a new game.

First, both people start a new game.One picks Squirtle while the other picks Charmander. They both play until they can buy poke balls and catch pokemon. One catches one Pokemon while the person with Squirtle catches four. Then, they go to a town center where the person trades Charmander for one of the four Pokemon caught by the other one. The person with two bad Pokemon starts a new game. He takes Bulbasaur, plays until he can catch Pokemon and trades it for a second Pokemon caught by the other player. The player with two bad Pokemon starts a new game again. Do this until the player has 2 charmanders, 2 sqirtles and one bulbasaur. The player with two bad Pokemon starts a new game again and takes bulbasaur. He then catches TWO Pokemon and trades them for charmander and sqirtle. In the end, both players are left with all three beginner pokemon.

WARNING: THIS MAY CAUSE SOME OF YOUR POKEMON TO DISSOBEY YOU.

First, do the missingno glitch (where you talk to the guy who teaches you how to catch Pokemon, surf the side of island, bla bla). When you get into a fight with a missingno, catch him. Then, give a rare candy and he will evolve into kangaskhan! It worked for me.

To multiply items you must have fly, surf, and to have been to Cinnibar Island.
Place the item you want to multiply in the 6th position by selecting the item, click select, ant click select when the sixth item is highlighted. Save.
FLY to viridian city, let the old man show you how to catch a Pokemon, fly to cinnibar island, surf on the east coast, you may see other Pokemon first, but keep surfing and you will eventually see MISSINGNO. Or M'. Run. Now you sixth item will look glitchy where the game tells you how many of the item you have. There it is!

Ok. Step one. Do the missingno cheat. Go to varidean and talk to the old man that shows you how to catcxh pokemon. Say no and he show u. Next put any item in you may want 2 duplicate (this is optinal, this you do not have 2 duplicate if you do not want 2 but do incounter misingno "M") put that item in 6th spot of bafg anf fly 2 cinnabar island. Surf on the right side untill you fing a missingno or "M". Catch him. This is why I said about duplication. It eser to catch him w/ masterball and if you got over 10... You got him good. Now put missingno iin party in first slot. Keep surfing up and down untill you incounter anothewr missingno or "M" batle him but don't capture him. And next, you guessed it. Find another one. But this time run away. Now you just go around and battle random Pokemon for about 5 min w/ you're missingo. After that, check you're trainer card. It should be glitched up. Now you should be incountering Pokemon backwords or facing the other way. But if you use another pkmn, it will have you're pkmn backwords 2! For even more intense activity, teech fly 2 missingno and fly 2 ANYWERE U WANT AND EXPERMENT W/ THAT! Have fun.. And be sure 2 ruin you're game and glitch it up till it crap... Have fun

To get infinite items first put the item that you want multiplyed into your sixth slot in your items then fly to Viridian City and talk to the old man.To get to the old man just go north and you will reach him.When the old man asks you if your in a hurry answer "no" and after he explaines how to catch a weedle fly to fuschia
city go south and surf to Seafoam islands.then when you get there surf up and down the beach until you run into "M" kill it or run away but don't catch it then afetr the battle check your sixth slot and it should have a weird marking and a 9 next to it.Instead of having to do this all over again you can just switch the item you want multiplyed and surf up and down the beach until "M" Or Missingno Appears.

(On your first trip to Cerulean, without the use of a cheating device)
Catch a JIGGLYPUFF in Route 3.
Level up JIGGLYPUFF or evolve it with a Moon Stone so it's speed stat is at least 25.(Do not delete Sing!)
Using JIGGLYPUFF'S Sing, capture an ABRA in Route 24.
Make sure you do not battle the trainer in this patch of grass. You will need him later!
Now, go down and immediately press start.Select Abra, and Teleport.
When you warp back to the Pokemon Center, your start botton will be disabled.
Just head North across Nugget Brigde.And defeat this trainer. He will have a level 17 Slowpoke.
After you do that, your start button will be enable again, so teleport one more time.Now head North like last time.

Perform the Mew cheat where you fly away from the gambler and then beat another trainer then go to a ditto and let it transform into a Pokemon that has a special stat of 255 then fly away as you usually would (go to lavender) now walkleft and you will encounter a glitch trainer who sends out a 'm' that looks like a charizard (note you can't catch it) and it has loads of wierd side effects which can overall change your name,turn some of your team members into bulbasaurs, change stats (not all bad as it can raise them over 999!),give them status changes that can't be healed, change there move set (sometimes teaches them moves they can't normally learn)and lastly distort the image. All hail the almighty 'm' and it's charizard form!

First, you need a gameshark. Enter this code in:

That will turn your first Pokemon into a glitch pokemon. It will have everything your first Pokemon had, except the pokedex number. It will say, in the stats, #205. Yay! Glitch pokemon!

To get these two powerful Pokemon at the start of the game enter your name as
"TzDzazu" (case sensitive) so when you perform the missingno. Cheat you will also encounter charizards and mewtwos as well.
So save your masterball and clone it and catch as many charizards and mewtwos as you like, also give them rare candys and level them up to level 255 to see some real amazing stats.

First of all...make sure you havent defeated the youngster with the slowpoke north of Cerulean City by bills house, and the old man next to the Underground Passage just west of Lavender Town. You also need to know Fly. Stand in front of the door of the Underground Passage and and get ready to push start. Take one step down and quickly push start before the old man battles you. (make sure you have your game saved before this since you wont during.) Go to your Pokemon and fly to cerulean city and go north to fight the youngster. Don't fight any other Pokemon before him!! Notice that your start button wont work because the game thinks you are in a battle. Defeat the youngsters slowpoke and fly back to lavender town. Once you take one step out of town on the west side, your menu will pop up. Just hit B and you will battle a Level 7 Mew who knows only pound!! Hes kinda hard to catch so weaken him a little and throw a great ball or ultra ball at him...Thanks :)

First you should beat Team Rocket and their boss in the city that The boss of the and get the master ball once you have done this you should use Fly and go the city you get the earth badge talk to the old man He'll ask you if you are in a hurry say no he will show you how to chech Pokemon then fly to cinabar island and use surf but first make sure that master ball is the 6th item in your bag find Missingo run and then go to the sifarie zone run from the Pokemon if you find a hard to get Pokemon when you have done this use fly and surf up and down the edge of clinabar island that the gym is on you will find Missingo and level 100 and over but you will also see Pokemon from sefarie zone there as well

Go to the guy that shows you how to catch Pokemon in viridian city talk to him once and let him show you how to catch a Pokemon fly to cinnibar island and surf along the east coast (half on land half on water) instead of coming across a glitch you might come across a level 135 golduck. He knows disable, confusion, fury swipes and hydro pump

Ps. This is very unlikly slim to none.

To do this cheat you must have- fly, surf, an item to duplicate (example:rare candy)
1. Talk to the guy in viridian that tells you how to catch a pokemon
2. Fly to cinnabar
3. Move rare candy in your bag to the 6th item from the top useing select
4. Surf along the east (right, ->) until you run into a glitch
5.WARNING:DO NOT CATCH THE GLITCH it will mess up your game... Forever
6. Run awzy from the glitch
7. Look in bag
8.if you did it correctly you should have over 99 rare candies... Or the item you selected to be 6th
9. Enjoy

Make sure you follow these instructions carefully. This code works for Red, Blue, and Yellow versions. Do NOT battle the trainer at Route 8 and Route 25. If you do, the code will not work. You need to play the game from the start till the point where you get HM02 Fly from Celadon City. At that point, you can do this code. Also, make sure you have a Pokemon that knows fly with you while doing this code.

Go to Route 8, and stand in front of the door in the building shown above. Be careful, to move so that the trainer near the house can't see you. This would be a good time to save your game, because you can't save the game until you got your Mew, and you may mistakes, so this will leave you at a good point to start over. When you take a step down, that trainer will see you. However, when you are taking that step down, quickly press start. If you did it right, then the menu should pop up first before the trainer can see you. If you didn't get it right, then you'll have to start over. Because you can't battle this trainer. Battling this trainer will ruin the code.
Now go to the Pokemon menu, and using the Pokemon that knows fly, fly to Cerulean City. The trainer will see you. But don't worry, it's normal. You will fly off to Cerulean City before that trainer can even battle you.Now you're at Cerulean City, and go across the Nugget Bridge north of the city.
After going up the Nugget Bridge, go east towards Bill's House. You won't actually go to Bill's House, but along the way, you need to find the trainer seen above. This is very important: You have to make the trainer walk up to you. So don't go in front of the trainer, it will cause your game to freeze. Walk above the trainer, so that he has to walk over to get to you. Once he walks over, and meets you, then you'll have a battle, and you have to win. It shouldn't be a problem, the only Pokemon he has is a Slowpoke at level 17. After you won the battle, fly to Lavender Town.
Ok, you're almost there. At Lavender Town, go to the path seen above. Take one step towards a path, and the menu will automatically pop up. Exit the menu and you will immediately encounter Mew. Mew is only at level 7, and only knows Pound. So it shouldn't be hard to capture.

If you want to get a unlimited amount of a item(s) first place the item ypu want unlimited of in the 6th slot of your bag and the FLY to Viridian city. When your there talk to the old guy who teaches you how to catch a Pokemon. He will say something about coffee and then will ask you if your in a hurry. Say NO and he will teach you how to catch a Pokemon. When he's done FLY to Cinnibar Island and then walk to the right and begin SURFING up and down the water. Make sure you are right next to the land but still in the water. After you SURF up and down a couple of times the battle music start and the screen will go balck for about 2-3 seconds and then a Pokemon should pop up. It's name might shown as MISSINGO or as a bunch of jumbled letters. You can either kill it or catch it. If you kill it there should be a wierd symbol next to a number of the item in the sixth slot. That means you have Infinite of that item. But if you catch the Pokemon your Hall Of Fame screen will be all screwed up along with your trainer card and your Pokemon when you battle.

Go to cerulian city (the one with misty as the gym leader) and go to the house on the left in the back go inside and and then go through the back door into his backyard and walk around pressing a and you will find a rare candy (its somewhere in the right side of the yard)

If you're looking for mr. Fuji you have to get the silph scope and then go to the highest floor and beat the spirit of the marowak and sooth it's soul and go inside and defeat the trainers talk to mr. Fuji and you're done. (He gives you the pokeflute to wake up snorlax)

Ok, I have three here, but one of them isn't really a cheat.

1. Stand on Tree.
Cut down a tree, and walk to the space where the tree was, so that you are standing where it uses to be. Save the game, and turn it off. When you turn the game back on, you will standing on the tree! Lol XD

2. Missingno Version 1.
Fly to Viridian City and talk to the man who once stopped you from going past, and talked about coffee. When he asks you if you want to know how to catch Pokemon, say yes. Once he is done, fly to Cinnabar Island. Surf on the east side of the island, so that you are half on water, and half on land. After a little bit of surfing, either a =++M++= or a Misingno or other random Pokemon, sometimes on level past 100 will appear. Note: If you are too paranoid about Missingno or =++M++= stuffing up your game, do not catch them. I have caught them, and only my hall of fame was glitched up.

3. Missingno Version 2.
Do exactly the same thing as the Missingno Version 1. With this exception:
Anytime before surfing at Cinnabar, if you want to get 130 of an item, put the item you want to duplicate in 6th position in your pack. Then surf, and once you find Missingno, either catch it, run or kill it, and the sixth item in your pack will have some glitchy symbols where the number is.

Two hints:
1. Missingno affects each game a different way, mostly. If Missingno does screw up your game, you'll know not to do it again won't you? So please stop saying that Missingno's going to screw up every game, cause it won't The worst it's ever done to my blue, red and yellow version is muck up my Hall of Fame, and Trainer Card, which AREN'T important. So, take a risk and see how it affects your game. Besides, no-one said you had to catch it, did they?
2. A little warning (oh the irony). Not that it's ever happened before up till now, but Glitch city may freeze your game. I went a little too far to the right, and the glitch froze my game. Oh, and I happened to find a level 31 Nidoqueen, level 100 Mew and a level 70 Mewtwo. What a shame I couldn't save it after I caught them...

When you get the ability to cut, cut down one of the trees, stand where it used to be, and save. Turn your game off... When you turn it back on, you should be standing where the tree was (I don't think this will screw up your game)...

Also, if you don't want to fight Pokemon, but you have to go through tall grass, use cut on the grass to temporarily remove it...

Want to get 1,998 coins for the Game Corner? First, get 999 coins in your coincase and put it in your 6th item slot. Then, encounter MissingNo or GB 'M GB.
You will have 1,998 game coins, but you can not get rid of your extra coincase.

Then do what I say...
1. Start a new game
2. Make your way to Cerulean city
3.Beat all trainers on nugget bridge and Gary
4.Make sure you havent battled the trainer in the grass left of nugget bridge
5. Catch an abra
6.move forward until you are above the trainer but he is not in sight
7 Save the game and move a steop down and press the start button really quick
8.Teleport back to the Cerulean pokemon center
9. Battle the first trainer in the Gym to get mew
10.Once you have beat her make your way up to the trainer you ran away from
11.Your start button will atomatcally pop up
12.Press B and mew will pop up.
13.To get Gengar and Scyther repeat the steps but battle all the trainers to bill's house


This really works and it helps to get rare pokemon quickly in the game

Glitchy music
First get an abra by nugget bridges grass. Then go heal your pokemon at Cerulean city.Next go through the tunnel and don't go in the grass outside of it.Save.Now there will be a trainer to the left. Go along the right side of the path so he is one square to the left. Now take one step left and quickly press start.Use your abra to teleport to Cerulean PKMN center and go back through the path to vermillion city.

DO NOT BATTLE ANYBODY ON YOUR WAY TO VERMILLION!Now go to the mart but don't go inside instead go back up the path. before you meet the JR.trainer he will battle you. Make sure you beat him!Now go up you should have a hard time moving. now go into the grass and battle a Pokemon, beat it and head back to Vermillion about halfway there the regular music will stop and you will hear Pokemon noises and messed up music. It is kinda creepy because you can't move and none of your buttons work. You will have to turn your gameboy off and on again.

First, start off with CHARMANDER, then level up only CHARMANDER until you get to PEWTER CITY (Level 16 - 20) should be enough!) you can evolve him (level16) if you want, but I managed to beat BROCK with him as CHARMANDER even though he should of evolved into CHARMELEON.

Get some POTIONS (about 4 or 5), then take on the other trainer inside the Gym, after you've done that, heal it at the POKEMON CENTER (don't use your POTIONS just yet, you'll need them when you take on BROCK. Then SAVE before you begin the battle, then if it goes wrong you can resume where you were and battle him again. He will first let out his Level 12 GEODUDE, use CHARMANDERS EMBER attack until it faints, use your POTIONS if CHARMANDERS health is too low after battling GEODUDE.

Next BROCK will let out ONIX (Level 14), don't panic! Just use EMBER all the time until you've won and use the POTIONS when neccessary and HEY PRESTO! You now have the first badge!

HINT: When BROCK's ONIX uses BIDE, just use a non-damage attack such as LEER. Usually BIDE will do double the damage you gave to the POKEMON, but as you don't damage ONIX in any physical way, the attack will miss and CHARMANDER (or any other POKEMON) won't be hit!

To beat MISTY with only CHARMANDER (or CHARMELEON, depending if you evolved him or not), first, beat your RIVAL, NUGGET BRIDGE and all the trainers as you go towards BILL's HOUSE and after you've left BILL's HOUSE, travel downwards until you come to a house which has been robbed (if the man inside the house says ' those miserable ROCKETS!' you'll know that you've come to the right place, go into the back yard, SAVE then go towards the man standing there, and he'll want to fight you.

Beat him, then he will give you the DIG TM, teach it to CHARMANDER/CHARMELEON, then go back into CERULEAN CITY and heal CHARMANDER/CHARMELEON at the POKEMON CENTER, buy more POTIONS (about 5-6 should be enough,depending on how well you've raised him), then use the DIG attack to beat the two trainers in the GYM (DO NOT USE YOUR POTIONS!!), then heal him again, then take on MISTY (SAVING before you do so), keep using DIG and using your POTIONS (when neccessary),then HEY PRESTO !! Your second badge!!

I really hope this helps and you don't have to do this, but I did and I definately found beating the first two trainers easier.
PS- Don't forget to still catch POKEMON on the way!!!

ok this is how it works:
First you must have fly.Go back to Pewter city and go all the way to Mt.Moon.Stop at the entrance.If u want to capture it you'll have to have a lvl.7 pokemon or weaker or a ultra ball or master ball.Now go inside and as soon as you go in press start.You must have precise timing.Walk a step forward and you should find a lvl.7 Slobro!Isn't that great!
Note:this trick might not always work so you'll have to try it a couple times.

Yes, believe it or not, it can be done without a GameShark or other cheating device. Here's what you'll need to do:

Restart your game and play until you get HM02 Fly from the house west of Celadon City.
DO NOT fight the following trainers:
The Youngster with a Slowpoke (Level 17) on the road to Bill's house (Route 25). He is the fourth trainer after you cross Nugget Bridge, standing directly above a female trainer and facing north.
The Gambler with two Poliwags and a Poliwhirl (all Level 22) between Lavender Town and Saffron City (Route 8). He is standing just east of the entrance to Saffron City, facing north toward the door of the Underground Path.
Carefully follow the series of steps illustrated below.

Make sure you have a Pokémon that knows Fly. On Route 8, stand in front of the door of the Underground Path. Save your game, since saving after this point will disrupt the procedure.
Walk down one step and immediately press Start. If you succeed, the menu will pop up before the Gambler "sees" you. Go to the Pokémon list and fly to Cerulean City.
The Gambler will see you just before you fly away.
Your Start button will no longer function. Go north across Nugget Bridge and head east until you find the trainer in this picture (he's the Youngster described above).
If you walk right up to the Youngster, the game will lock up, so you'll have to let him see you and walk up to you. Defeat his Slowpoke (afterwards, your Start button will work again), then fly to Lavender Town.
Head west into Route 8.
As soon as you enter the narrow path, the menu will pop up by itself. Press B to exit...
...and look who it is! Mew will be at Level 7 and its only attack will be Pound. Pokéball, go!

Once you've caught Mew, you can save your game without any ill-effects.

There are two alternative ways to enter Route 8 and trigger Mew after beating the Youngster. If you have access to Saffron City, you can fly there and go through the eastern city gate. Also, you can fly to Celadon City, head east to Route 7, enter the Underground Path, and emerge back in front of the Gambler.

If you do the Missingno cheat, and then continue surfing, you will run into over level 100 Pokémon. The Pokémon depends of your name in the game.

Beware! The trainers may screw up your game! If you catch Missingno, your graphics may screw up! If you only SEE Missingno, your Hall Of Fame in PokéCenter Screws up. You have there level 198 Kakuna, level 999 Rattata etc.

The Pokémon that you catch with the Missingno cheat screws not up your game, but Missingno may do it if you catch it!

If an over level 100 Pokémon wins a battle, it will come back to level 100. You know that you can't give a rare candy to level 100 Pokémon, but you can do this with an OVER level 100 Pokémon.

If you give a rare candy to level 255 Pokémon, it will come to level 0!!! All these codes works in both Red and Blue version.

if you want to get a lot of 1 or more items follow these instructions " go to Viridian city and talk to the man who says I've just had my coffee and i feel great and when he asks you if you're in a hurry say no then fly to cinnabar island. Surf up and down right side of it so you're half on land and half on water when you hit a missingno beat it but before you do make sure the item that you want lots of is in the sixth place then after you have beaten it you should have by the item you wanted lots of it should say 9* but when you come to 99* be alert because when you get to 1 of the item you must do the cheat again or else you will run out of that item

Glit City

Go Safari zone and walk about a bit and come back, if the man says "leaving early" say: No.

Go back in again he'll ask you the same question, this time say: No, save your game and swith your gameboy off and swith it back on again ....continue.

Come back out and the man will say "do you want to jion the hunt?" say: No. Fly to sinabare island, go to the right side where the gym is then surf.

Go up & down when it says P. A. Come out of Safari zone and you will be in a new world!

How to duplicate items:

Put an item with a x symbol in the sixth position on the item list.

Go to the man in Viridian City and ask him how to catch a Pokemon.Then fly to Fushcia City and go south until you reach the water.

Walk to the wall on the left and face the water.Surf and follow the wall until you reach the shore of Seafoam island.

Dont go on land but surf up and down on the coastline.Soon you will find a pokemon called Missingno.Dont catch it or fight it.

Run away from missingno. and the sixth item on the item list will be duplicated.

If you want to get Saffarie Pokemon without a time limit just go into the saffarie zone and collect as many pokemon as you can.

When your time runs out fly to cinnabar island.

Now surf up and down by the side of the gym and when a pokemon appears it will be a pokemon from the saffarie zone.

Talk to the guy at the top of viridian city and when he says "Are you in a hurry?" say NO.Then fly to cinnabar island and surf on the edge of it to the right.

You may see a couple of level 100-200 pokemon but when you find a missingo.

you can either kill it to make your sixth itemx165 or you can capture it,give it a rare candy and watch it evolve into a Kangaskan(sorry if it's spelt wrong!) or if you dont have any rare candy's put it in battle so it grows a level!!!!!!

To Duplicate Items:

Your gonna need pokemon that know surf!

1)Talk to the guy who teaches you how to catch pokemon.(He's in Vigidian City).

2)When he says "are you in a hurry" say NO.

3)Go to Cinnabr Island.

4)Surf on the right sea side of Cinnabr Island.

5)Lots of good pokemon will apper like for example weexing I think L:28, snorlax L:148! or L:128!, pontynia I think L:43, Poliwrath, and exc...

6)A pokemon called Missingno. will apper, DON'T CATCH IT OR ELESE IT WILL RUIN YOUR GAME!!! they come in different levels, like 146, 89, 48.

P.S.: I've got no clue if there a pokemon or not, water or flying, legandary or not.

This is how you can get 100 of an item. First talk to the guy that show you how to catch a Weedle. Let him show you how to catch it.

Then FLY to Cinabar Island and surf on the right side of the gym thats half land and half water.

Surf until you encounter a Pokemon named MissingNo. either run away or defeat him.

Still whatever you do DON'T CATCH HIM beacuse it will mess up your game.

This code really works. You can even duplicate master balls and Rare Candy's!

Infinite Health

This code works i promise.
First do the MissingNo.

Code (get to cinnabar island, fly to viridian City, say "no", fly to cinnabar island, surf along the east coast)
Keep getting into battles until you find a 100+ pokemon, preferrably Snorlax.

Duplicate rare candies and feed them to to your pokemon until he is level 255.
After this Store him in the pc.

Get him back out and his level will go back to what it was when you caught it, but is HEALTH WILL NOT!

just do this as many times as you want and his health will keep rising.

WARNING: do not give it any potions.

This code works but as far as I know it only works with snorlax, you can try others....'

This Cheat is for an easier way to get to Glitch City and get a good chance catch a lot of safari pokemon without safari balls.

1. Go to Fushia City and get to the safari zone.

2. Enter the Safari and go right back out and the guy will ask you if you are leaving early say no and go back in.

3. Save your game once you get back in.

4. Turn your game off and turn it back on.

5 leave the safari zone this time the guy wont ask you if you are leaving early instead he will ask you if you want to join the hunt say NO.

6 After you leave fly to Cinnabar Island and surf on the edge of blaines gym you willd alot of safari pokemon and after awhile a message will come up "Ding Dong your time is up" it will bring you back to the safari zone and once you walk out you will be in glitch city.

There are 2 moon stones in MountMoon. The first one is at the upper-left corner above the Hiker with the 2 Geodudes and Onix level 10. The second one is in the area where you get a fossil. Go to the land where there are 2 fossils.



Don't go on the land, just stand in front of it. See the walkway on the right wall and go to it. There will be nothing there, but keep going until you hit the wall.



Press A and it will say: "You found a MOON STONE!"
