This Elite enemy can be found at the top of cliff where a windmill like thing indicates it.

When Reached you meet him having an glowing red helmet which Cynder's Fear Magic can deal with the helmet, once thrown you can defeat him, but slowly, because he is fast and only your Defense Roll is the greatest shield from attacks.

But simply, deep in the top of the same cliff itself there will be Green Gems located by Jumping on the higher land, you charge Spyro's Mana to use Electricity Magic on the enemy to slow him down, and if you did this in two-player mode (or Teamwork Mode like I may say) Spyro will use Electricity Magic on him, while Cynder Attacks him, and if it worked you may get happy.

P.S. When the enemy jumps, go the opposite direction he jumped, or go left or right as far as you can.

If you want more combos, then collect Mana (or Magic) and use the fire element on the enemies by pressing or holding the R2 Button
You can rotate your dragon around himself by rotating the left analog stick, this strategy can be used when surrounded by enemies, make it easier to defeat them.

Throughout the game you will have to fight many types of enimies. One of these types of enemies are small green and travel in packs. The first time you see them is in the first level right after you get youre breath abilities. One of the easies ways to defeat them is to back awaw from them untill they start walking towds you. Then when they are all in the same place use spyro's commet dash. I believe that it is the easiest way to get out of tight situations like when you are sarounded by them. Hope ths helps!

Throughout the game you will be requierd to destroy several dark crystles. Whell, if you attack it head on with melle attacks you will lose all youre mana or magic. So keep that in mind when you have to destrow a dark crystle wile enemies are around you. Hope this helps!

When you fighting Malefor use the triangle attack, Spyro's Electricity, or Cynder's Fear or Posion. Remember every tim you hit him with triangle or square attack you get red and green gems. Then after so long you fight him and he goes in side a puplish-pink ball hit it with square for it is faster than the triangle hit. After a whille look at the fury ber it will either be filling up or close to full. Then use fury hit him and then it goes to an interactive cut-scene. Then you win. Also at the end if you listen carefully you can hear cynder say,"I love you" very silently. Hope this helps you win.
