Ok, this is for anyone who turned into an adult without getting Din's Fire. If you shoot arrows through a torch bracket, it lights on fire. I used this myself in water and Fire temple. Also use this when low on magic.
You can light torches with good aim as well!

Stalfos are tricky to kill. To kill them it's best to defend their attacks with your sheild and when they drop their guard strike them with your sword. Repeat until dead.

As a child enter Hyrule Castle town market and go to the Treasure Chest game. Go there equipped with the Lens of Truth and use it to view the contents of the treasure chests. This way you can easily see which ones hold the keys. The first time you beat it you'll get a heart piece, if you beat it any more times you'll get a purple rupee.

From the entrance in to the Lost Woods go right,left,right and right and go to the far side of the area you are now in to where there are butterflies flying around.. Go to where they are and you will fall down a hole. Put on a mask and the Deku Scrubs down there might give you something depending on the mask.

Go to Hyrule castle as a kid.

Go in the water and go to the place where you see a tree.

Play the song of storms an a hole will appear. enter and you will be in a sort of cave. set a bomb on the left of you.

There's a regular and a gold skulltulla, destoy the regular first.

Then equip the boomerang and hit the golden one 2 to see the token.

Throw your boomerang and just the moment that the boomerang hits the token go quik in the light circle, and you only see: you got...

Next time you go back the golden one will be there again!

Ok, in answer to Ho-oh_22's question about how to beat Ganondorf at the end: when he does his little magic thing just keep swinging your sword over and over again (pressing B over and over).

This is how I beat him the first time.

Not very conventional but it worked. If he deflects it then just keep swinging your sword over and over. He get's faster every time but just keep swinging your sword.

If this doesn't work then the first time he shoots you, use your mirror shield and the second time he shoots you try to deflect it and THEN swing your sword over and over.

Also, when you hit him by deflecting his magic MAKE SURE YOU SHOOT HIM REALLY QUICKLY WITH THE LIGHT ARROWS !!! ~

When you go to see Zelda in Hyrule castle as a kid (or you can just go there as a kid anyway)look in one of the side windows. There will be paintings of Mario, Bowser, Yoshi, Luigi and Peach.

The Triforce is a mystery on the story of Zelda 64 Ocarina of Time. I don't know how to get it, but:

* If you pay attention to what Rauru says when you are in the first time on the Chamber of the Sages, you will remember he said the Triforce is on the TEMPLE OF LIGHT in the Sacred Realm. So, to get the Triforce we should problably not touch the Master Sword (this way, Ganondorf won't get in the Temple of the Light), get the Ocarina of Time and acess the Temple of Light. But, how?

* When you first see Zelda, she will say that the TEMPLE OF TIME is the entrance to the Sacred Realm, and the TEMPLE OF LIGHT. Confused? You haven't see nothing!

* Every time you see the owl, KAEPORA GAEBORA, it's flying to the mysterious enigma on the desert. Pay attention: When you speak with it as a child, she flies to here. When you see she on the entrance of the Spirit Temple as adult, it goes to the desert, to the enigma!

I know somebody really hate the Like Like, because they eat your Goron's and Zora's tunics and Hylians Shields. It's simple: get the Mirror Shield and wear it and your Kokiri's Tunic. Now, get next to a Like Like and let it suck you (you will lose life, but trust me!).

He won't eat your tunic or your shield, because there aren't any couple of them! Also, you can stun them with your Hook/Longshot or easy kill them with a Bomb!

Now I have a question that, I think only a master of Zelda can answer: I'm fighting " Great King of Evil - GANONDORF", but it's depressing. I try to bounce the balls back at him, but he's way too fast! All I can do is protect myself with the Mirror Shield! If I don't do this, he bounce back the ball I've bounced on him and I get hurt. All I do is waste Fairys and Blue Potions. I'm starting to get mad!

Please, someone post a easy way to destroy him! Thanks!

In the fire temple you know that huge round room where you get the hammer from?

Well if you look on the map you should see another big round room just like it beside it, I know how to get there (most of you might have figured out already too).

What you have to do is go into that big room with the huge stone balls rolling around, you go so that you're on the top (you guys probably know what I'm talking about).

Around one of the entrances (I can't remember which or even if there are two entrances...) Navi should fly up to a ledge and turn green, play the scarcrow song and the scarcrow should pop up.

Use the hookshot on him and go up, immedietly opposite there should be one of those targets that you can hit with the hookshot.

Use the hookshot to go over there and the platform should start to rise (make sure that your standing in the right place or you'll get squashed).

It should come out into a tiny room with a door, go throgh that door and viola you're in!

Then you have to do a very similar thing that you did to get the hammer to get the two hundred rupees (gosh that was long).

If Your low on Health or magic play the song of storms to a gossip stone.

(A statue with a picture of an eye on it) and a pink ball will appear get close to it.

It will revive your health and magic NOTE: you can not catch it.

In the shadow temple if u hav hover boots go over to the mouth (if its open!) go down the corridor and you will come to a laser eye thing kill it and go on the circle were it was.

Play the song of storms and a giant fairy comes out.
unfortunaly you can't catch it.

It heals all your health (same as a normal fairy just bigger and you can't catch it.)

RED TUNIC-you will find the red tunic from the small rolling goron dude one level below the top level in the Goron city. He will give you the red tunic and the goron shop will open.

BLUE TUNIC-You get the blue tunic when your an adult after you defrost the Zora king with blue fire (which you can buy or bottle it in the ice cavern)

IRON BOOTS-You get the iron boots you have to go to where Jabu-jabu was when you were a kid. There should be some ice platforms you can jump across to get to the ice cavern or get a piece of heart. You should bring atleast one fairy and one empty bottle to get the blue flame in. You have to beat this as an adult.

BOW-You get the bow about half way through the forest temple in a circular room with two stalfos(big skeletons) that come back to life unless you kill the second one that will attack you in less than 30 seconds from the time you kill the first stalfo. If you fail the other stalfo with come back to life again.

And what does that blue chicken that you get as an adult do???

Ganondorf:o.k. to defeat ganondorf first he will knock some of the blocks down so run into one of the corners and stay there but if you stand on the blocks.

He'll knock you down and you have to climb a long ways up but for all of you begginers out there that are'nt true masters at this game like me.#

If you run low on health go down to the bottom and break the clay jars.but anyways ganondorf will get a ball of electricity and throw it at you.

Have your sword ready and right when its very close to you hit it with your sword and he'll probably hit it back and keep hitting it back until he gets hit.

He'll just hang in the air then very fastly hit him with a light arrow and he will fall then run over to him(just run to him like as if there was ground there accept dont do that from a corner of course.)

Then start slashing at him until he gets up then run back to your corner and repeat the proccess until he's dead.

If you dont kill him soon enough he will get a giant black or light ball of energy take out your light arrows quickly and hit him.

Then you know what to do from there, then when you beat him he will puke up his heart.:] then you must escape from the tower.
Ganon:o.k.to defeat ganon you can do it two ways#1you can hit him in the face with a light arrow and it will look like hes taking a crap.

Go around him and hit him in the tail with the megaton hammer.or#2 you can just run towards his legs and roll through them and hit him in his tail with the hammer.

In order to defeat Queen Gohma who is the boss at the bottom of the great deku tree, all you have to do is z-target on her eye.

Get close, then when she lifts up her hands and her eye turns red, use the slingshot on her eye to stun her, and then jump attack her as many times as you can.

Then she should climb up to the top of the room and try to lay eggs. But keep her eye z-targeted and when it turns red, use the slingshot again to stun her and make her fall to the floor.

Then, like before, jump attack her a few times if you can and by now she should be defeated.

If she isn't, however, just start the whole thing all over again.

You can sell all of the happy masks to these people:

Fox-looking mask (srry, cant remember the actual name): the guard that is at the exit of kakario village heading toward death mountain

Skull mask: enter the lost woods and go left (coming from behind mido's house) and jump onto the short log. play sarias song to make the skull kid friendly then talk to him with the skull mask on (you might have to use z-targeting). You will lose rupees on this deal, but its worth what you get later.

Scary mask: In the day, go to kakario graveyard and talk to the little kid walking around while wearing the mask. He'll buy it at regular price.

Bunny hood: Find the running man that runs all around hyrule field all day. Once you find him, keep up with him until its night (or play the sun's song). very little into the night, he'll stop and you can talk to him and sell him the mask. You should sell to him on an empty wallet, because he pays you so much for the hood that it fills your rupees to max!

After you sell all of these masks, you can take out the mask of truth (lets you talk to gossip stones), Zora mask, Goron mask, or Gerudo mask. Before you waste your time trying to take the gerudo mask to gerudo valley and gain access to gerudo fortress, i'd like to point out that gerudos aren't blind and a mask won't fool them.

Anyways, happy mask selling!

Once you defeat Ganon"dork",you run out of the castle, blah blah blah!

Zelda tells you in the middle where the castle collapses, there is something there she wants you to investigate.

So do it (She could have you executed you know)Ganon appears and he will knock your Master sword out of your hand you don't have to use the Meggaton hammer, instead use the Biggoron sword!

You can only float forever with the hoover boots on PC, and you have to get cheats for it.

Also you can get 101 golden skualtulas.......

With the horse over by gerudo's valley the broken bridge the horse can jump over it or you can use the hookshot/longshot on the target grapplers.


When your playing against gannon and he knocks your master sword away behind the fire, you can take out your megaton hammer or your big goron sword and slice his tail.

You can use the hookshot/longshot to hit his face or the light arrows or regular arrows but you have to be fast.

The thing that sucks about beating the game is that you cant save the game :-(

Hint: when your fighting gannondorf and he shoots a big black ball with electricty in it hold thr slash button then let go of it at the right time.

If you run out of magic, go to the bottom of the level and slash the pots and there will be magic there i'm not sure if it is there all the time though.

It would be smart if you bring magic in a bottle with you and a fairie.

As young link in hyrule castle market there is a mask shop.there are 4 masks to sell.

Keaton mask:the guard at the death mountain trail entrance gate.
skull mask:the lon skull kid in lost woods(make friends with him by playing sarias song)
spooky mask:the boy in kakariko graveyard
bunnyhood mask:the man running around hyrule field.he only talks to you during the evening when he stops to rest.

Sell him the mask then.
Now you can borrow 4 new maks as well as the old ones but you cant sell them to anyone.

They are: The mask of truth(talk to those time telling stones with the mask of truth on to get a hint)the goron mask,the zora mask and the gerudo mask.

Ok, I heard some of you need help with Lord Jabu-Jabu.

This dungeon is a pain in the you know what.

Ok first find princess Ruto and she will fall down a hole. Follow her down the hole, then talk to her.

She will be all stubborn and stuff and make you carry her through the dungeon!

Now your thinking: You've got to be kidding me! That's what I said but she really is being serious!

Ok you've probably found out that hitting enemies with your sword will electricute you, so don't waste your time trying to do so.

Instead, chunk that subborn princess at them! That's right, throw princess Ruto at them becuase besides using din's fire and a charged spin attack.

It's the only way to kill enemies without being shocked to death! Yeah, ok, use this method till you find the boomerang, which will make the dungeon a peice of pie.

Ok, stop complaining that you can't find it! Just listen to Navi, oh and find your way back to the 2nd floor again to find the boomerang.

The path to the second floor is through the door behind you after you find Ruto on the first floor. When you get to the room with the bubbles and the flying sting rays, jump down in the shallow water with Ruto.

Avoid the switch you'll see and throw Ruto on to the other ledge. Now go back and press the switch so that the water rises and you can get back to Ruto.

Note: there is also a gold skatulla on a ledge to the right but you you have to raise the water so get it then go back down before the water goes shallow again.

Now take Ruto down the hallway, hit the swicth on the ceiling with the sling shot then enter the door.

Drop Ruto because a Squid thing will pop out of the water and shoot rocks at you.

Kill it then look up, there should be a platform coming down. Pick up Ruto then jump on the platform and it will take you back to the second floor.

Go back to the room with holes in it and avoid the holes and enemies and go through the door on the opposite side.

Navi will help you from here.

When ur up against the first boss in ocarina of time, when its laying eggs and its eye turns red shoot it with your sling shot.

It will fall and be paralized and hit her with your sord.:P

Ocarina of Time for 64 is a very challenging game and I realized that there not yet any walkthroughs to get you through it!

The tips and hints room is full of QUESTIONS and horrible grammar so bad that it takes to long to figure out what their talking about.

Most of the cheats are fake and I don't see anything else for it.

So here I'm going to try and guide you through the game one step at a time.

THE BEGINNING



After the story is done and Navi has come to you with instructions to talk to The Great Deku Tree you should do just that.

If you're not sure where it is . . . look at the map on the right bottom hand side of the screen.

The red triangle is where you came from, and the yellow triangle is where you are.

The really big circle with another one in it is where the Great Deku Tree is. So now your on your way.

But there will be a Kokiri kid named Mido blocking your way.

Mido is sort of \\\"the boss\\\" and he tells you that you need at least a shield and sword to be of any assistence to the great deku tree.

So let's find your shield first although you can do either one first.

Run around like a maniac looking for rupees (money) They can be found in the grass next to people, in jars, etc.

When you get at least fifty rupees, head to the kokiri shop (if you don't know where it is you'll have to find it yourself.

It's not that hard. There's only like ten buildings in the whole forest. lol)There you will select what you want to buy.

Purchase the Deku Shield with your 40 rupees.

you talk to Saria (the girl with green hair) and she greeted you when you left your house and is waiting for u she will tell you that there is only one sword in the whole forest and it is hidden!

(Oh boy) Don't worry . . . . it's not that hard even though it took me at least an hour to get it.

Now if you can get a high view to see most of the forest, look around to see if you can find a bunch of fences.

with bushes in them and a guy in the back, a few signs along the way, etc. Go there and walk to the end.

There will be some kid talking about z targeting blah blah blah. There's a hole in the wall next to him and a sign next to it. The sign will teach you how to crawl.

Crawl into the hole and you will reach a cave sort of think with rocks tumbling everywhere. Go left and then straight up.

There will be a big treasure ahead. Open it and you will get the kokiri sword!

Finally, head back to where the deku tree is. Mido will still be blocking you but if you show him the shield and sword, he will let you pass. Finally the great deku tree will tell you about what has happened.

He has some curse that you need to break . . . blah blah blah.

He'll open his mouth and you get to go into the first of about a million bodies. lol.

I don't want to go into to much detail on what to do right now as i will cover it later but for those of you who are so anxious . . .

get as high up as you possibly can and jump into the web in the middle of the floor. If you did it right, it will break and you get to go in.

Then you land in this one room where it seems like you can't do anything.

Well along the way you should have picked up some Deku Sticks, but in the unlikely chance you didn't, go back and get some by either buying them, or killing some bad guys and picking up there \\\"Remains\\\" Now press the switch next to the little pole in that room and a fire will start.

Pick up your deku stick and get it near the fire. The stick will have a small fire on the end.

Now that piece of land on the other side (not with the big box! Dont try and get there! That is for later and will only waste ur time!)

There will be a big spider web with a door behind it.

Let your deku stick touch it and a fire willl spread destroying the web giving you acces to another room. Go and explore.

Cause im not gonna guide you through the details. Also check the doors above the web that you smashed through.

They contain some important treasures. Eventually you will have to fight these three scrubs.

(Little guys that hide in grass and come out and throw stuff at you) But first you will go through a series of other ones that will give you advice.

One will tell you that his brothers and sisters can only be beat in a certain order.

2 3 1 or something like that. he'll tell you. By the way, to beat a scrub you need to lock on them using z don't get too close and hold your shield.

Their attack will reflect and they will stop and give you a hint.

Beat those three (they won't give you hints) but the last one will call the boss.



A giant spider!! To kill her, use your slingshot or those deku balls or whatever they are to stun her eye.

She will sort of freeeze up for a sec and you have to hit her with your sword.

she'll climb up to the roof and lay some eggs.

Destroy them before they hatch. If they do hatch you will have to fight some little guys on top of your first big fight. Hit her as many times as possible.

You can always press z when fighting someone to lock on them so you don't have to aim. Eventually you will see a new heart so you now have 4 hearts instead of 3.

There will be a blue light, go in it and you will apppear outside.

The great Deku tree will say you accomplished your mission and blah blah blah. You find out what happened yourself. Now leave the woods.

(The exit on the left side of the map) Your running out when Saria stops you and talks and gives you her ocarina.

You leave and are on your way!!



Next time . . . Prepare To Adventure in The Land of Hyrule!!

This int really a cheat,but if you want to catch a 20 pond fish in the fishing pond you need to find the sinking lure.It is on a log with a branch poking out of the water,you have to be the older Zelda to get it. The 20 pond fish has to be the first fish you catch(it is by the log that you find the sinking lure on it).You will not lose any fish if you hook them with the sinking lure.

NOTE: If you have achieved something in Zelda - want to share a tip with others or ask a question, then go to the Gaming Update message board which has a Zelda section! This is not a cheat but it is cool. I learned it in Zoras domail where King Zora sits. If you use Din's Fire on the platform where you talk to King Zora, the stone of truth will spin around like crazy! Try it

It's not really a cheat but when you beat the guy for epona and he locks you in you can jump the big fence by just running fast at the fence.

THIS IS NOT A CHEAT BUT IT'S FUNNY. WHEN YOU SPEAK TO THE BIG OWL AND WHEN HE SAYS '' DO YOU WANT TO HEAR WHAT I SAID AGAIN?'' HIGHLIGHT YES AND REPEATEDLY TAP B ALL THE TIME AND WATCH THE OWL SPIN HEAD ROUND AND ROUND.

go to the frogs on the river and play the song of storms to get a heart peace.

BEFORE ENTERING THE GORONS CAVE THERE IS A ROUND PLATFORM WITH STONES IN A CIRCLE GET IN THE MIDDLE AND GET A RUPIE OF EITHER 200 OR 500 RUPIES I DONT REMEMBER!

This isn't really a tip, but I just went through your cheats, and I saw a cheat that says the fairy at Gannon's castle gives you immortality, but it really just takes half damage off of enemy attacks. .

Multiple Bottle Trick- First find a hole with a fish in water then get out a bottle swing the bottle half way then push start.

Get out a weapon in its place. If you did it right your weapon should of turned into a bottle.

Warning: You can't get your weapon back so use at your own risk.

To get the "Iron boots",you need to be adult link,and you also need to have beat the fire temple.

Go to "Zora's Domain" go to were lord jabujabu was,you should see glaciers,hop to each one, until you find a part that splits, like this ,forward and left, take left.

This should take you to the ICEICLE cavern.BEWERE:THERE ARE BAD-GUYS CALLED BLIZZARDS,SOME ARE VISIBLE AND SOME ARE INVISIBLE.THEY CAN FREEZE YOU.

Moneymaking scheme:

Sick of being poor?
Then try this cheat! Well, it's not really a cheat, but try it anyway. Go to the lost woods as an adult. Walk up to skull kid.

we will jump off his platform and shoot darts at you. so kill him with the Biggoron sword. If you kill him he will leave behind an orange rupee.

(That's 200 rupees)

You all know that you can fish. Did you know that you can dive deeper with a golden scale? Do you know how too get it? You have to fish and get a 19-pounder or more.

What? You say you don't know how to get it? Well all you have to do is fish at lake Hylia (where else can you fish?)

Well you cast your line near the sunken log (or stand on it) and when a huge, fat-looking fish bites press star and put on the iron boots.

Then reel it in and talk to the guy about the weight of your fish. He will say it is a new record and give you a golden scale.

Now you can dive deeper than when you had the sliver scale.

If you want to get a heart piece without buying a magic bean than go to death mountain and go to the goron bomb garden pick up the bomb and throw it and hurry and do a backflip over the fence you will get hurt but you will get a heartpiece you can do this as a kid or adult .

Someone named Wonderbug 2000 asked which grave the gravekeeper is in.Well here's the answer.

Enter the graveyard & go left up into the next level of the graveyard & it is the one with little flowers in front of it

Here is a very helpful cheat. Whenever navi flies to an area and turns green but nothing is there, play the scarecrow's song.



If you don't know how to get the scarecrow's song, then listen up. As a child Link, go to lake hylia and go to the scarecrows.



Pull out your ocarina and play whatyever you want.

How many people hate listening to the owl? There is a way to skip him. You do have to listen to him at least once, however.



If you are going to the Zora Kingdom, for instance, and you have already talked to the owl, just push B. But you should listen to him anyway, because he can really help you out.



Also, have you ever actually looked at the owl? He has that face with the big eyebrow, and then he flips his head.



I never noticed it until the last time I played. When he flips his head, you can make out another face where the eyebrow is like a mustache!
