Full Review of Gears of War 2 for XBox 360

I know this game came out a little while ago but there are still some people out there who might want to get some info about it to see if they really want this game. Well to be honest this game is much better than the original, not at all Gears 1.5,better gameplay, graphics ane so on. Well I guess I need to go ahead and review it, and this review may contain spoilers!

Graphics

The graphics in this game are for anyone who played the first, awesome with the occasional mess up in game. The first was set mainly in caves, abandoned buildings, and dark camps. This game is still set in some caves and abandoned buildings as well as forests, destroyed cities and yes even inside a giant worm. The point is that when your in the light wide open forests it looks amazing, but the difference in this games is that even in the darker places the game still looks great with a great improvement. The graphics aspect gets a deserved ten out of ten.

Sound

The sound in the new one was not much different the guns sound the same, the grenades sound the same, even some of the vehicles sound the same. The biggest change in sound is that there are many new weapons, and they sound good. The charcters however went through the same treatment. The same charcters and their voices as well as new charcters and voices that add a deeper element to it that also makes it better than the first. The sound gets a nine out of ten.

Gameplay

Gameplay is where this game shines, with the pure adrenaline fueled fire-fights to the close combat encounters with the locusts. This time round though will give you a more strategic look at the locusts with many more classes that will force you to run and gun, take dodge or just go all melee. The gameplay doesn't really need more of an explanation except for the controls of the vehicle your forced to drive in a level. The only reason the gameplay doesn't get a perfect score is because of the vehicle, but not to worry your not in it for long. Gameplay recieves a nine out of ten.

Lastability

Gears 2 has many ways to keep yuo occupied with the game even after the storyline is done. When you beat the story there is always the other diffuculties, but if you finished that there is always multiplayer. With many different modes you could spend alot of time playing this game. The best part is even if you don't have xbox live you can fight against formidable bots. Now for the last part is horde, this is 50 levels of madness that will keep you playing for many long hours. Enought said this gets a ten out of ten.

Overall

Nearly every point of this game is an improvement, from multiplayer to story mode you will be entertained with this fantastic game. This is not just for hardcore fans, with immersive story and challenging game modes this game is perfect. I know the score seems good but I just gave my honest opinion about this game and hope that you might think the same if you get this great game. This game gets a ten out of ten by me.
