Introduction
In Fallout the year is 2212. The world was said to end, but the apoclypse didn't come, it was just another bloody chapter in the history of man. China was in a war with america and they dropped bombs... All citizens where moved into vaults; or atleast the lucky ones, your character was born in the vault and it's all he or she knows, your mohter dies, and your father escapes the vault you got blamed and where exiled, but the other people left in the vault wanted to leave. But the leader wouldn't allow that. Your character is left in the 'Capital Wasteland' a hellish like landscape comeplete with Super Mutants, the evil Enclave, the Brotherhood and normal people. Your father didn't die on his way out of the vault and you need to find him. You run into crazy, blood thirsty raiders, slavers and many more encounters in the wasteland. All around the waste land is danger, reward, and betrayal, it's all up to you to decide what happens
Graphics
10
The graphics are OUTSTANDING. If you shoot someone the blood will pour realisticly, the ground is plunged with twisted metal, the smoke of burning remains fills the putred air as radiation gleams in the distance. The results from the explosion leave indentations in the ground. The wallpaper from walls peels and curls as the creatures that lurk in darkness destroy buildings from the inside out. The characters are extremely detailed, as if you were actually there. Its amazing
Sound
10
The majority of music is a fifties style record playing, as if they were all that was left. The sound is exquisite, the gunfire rings in your ears as it's lead from the barrel into your enemies skull, the twang of a knife as you swing it wildly attempting to strike a hit. The explosion of a missle launcher sound real as if they held a tape recoreder right next to the impact point
Gameplay
10
The game play is good, Your character wanders around the wasteland looking for you long lost father, encountering many different enemies and allies who will assist your quest, or challenge you mentally and phyically. You wander around finding small cities, and fortresses of Super Mutants it's amazing...
Lastability
10
The game will get old after a while, like when you start a new game and have to do all of the quests again, and your character is extremely weak,it really agrivates me how weak you are when you start. The game does get old via the limited ammount of quests that are extremely easy to find
Overall
10
Very good game, Highly recommened. Although it does get old after a while, still it's worth the money. It's made by the peopel who make Oblivion, and it is an RPG also, so you can just walk around shooting people or you cn actully o your quests and finish the game
Final Score : 100 %
