The newest addtion to the smackdown vs raw series in many ways stepped up in alot of places,but at the same time made the game alot worse

Graphics nowadays are the game develepors main focus and although some parts did look nice it was nothing that would amaze you.Also MVP's move the playmaker was horribly done,just saying

The soundtrack for this year was one of the few things they did right,and for once you might have heard of the song before you [played this game.One thing that will dissapoint you is the announcers because one again they stink!Tazz's replacement JBL says the same exact thign except now in a southern accent.The only new things you will hear them say are about the new wrestlers in the game,other then that they still say the same old crud

I hate the gameplay,personally I hate how they used the right analog to use grapple moves,although in a way it is smarter.
Some changes they made this year were that they changed the special button from li to triangle.and now you hold the l1 buton to run which isn't that bad since you can now run freely instead of just being able to only run 4 ways.
One thing they did right was adding the weapon wheel which alloqws you to pick what weapon you wan't instead of having the same old 4 weapons you have grown annoyed of.Sadly the weapon wheel can only be used in the ECW extreme rules match.

This years version does not support online(only ps3 and x box360 do)so you won't be playing it as much as you wanted to.Also this years new addition 34/7 mode might be something you never want to try unless you wan't to unlock stuff.Why?because you are doing the same crap every week and the same thing keeps happening just with different people.By far this is the worst season mode EVER for w WWe game

ALthough this game does have alot of flaws I still recommend renting the game to see whether or not you should buy it.The new wrestlers and abilities you can do with weapons should entertain you for a while,but don't expect to be playing this thing until 09 comes out
