Introduction
Parasite eve is a pretty easy game after awhile, but when your first starting out it is good to get help from someone who has beaten the game. This game has a lot of blood and gore, mostly in the FMV's, so if you are easily nauseated then I don't recommend this game. But if you enjoy violent and bloody games then this is a great addition to your collection. The game focuses around aya, Aya is a female cop. On day 1 when she goes to an opera all the acters except for one actress, and most of the audience burst into flame. The actress that didn't burst into flame transforms into a strange creature this creature is the mian enemy of aya throughout the game. As you lvl up you will game knew powers. I am pretty sure that you start out with heal 1.

The in game graphics arn't something to brag about, but the FMV graphics are very good, it seems as if the disigners of this game focused mianly on the FMV, but that is why the FMV's with blood and gore can be sickening. But overall the graphics were very good for a ps game.

I usually play video games with the sound off, but when I did use sound it was fairly good, like in the graphics the sound was best in the FMV's. That fact supports my theory that the designers of the game mainly focused on the FMV's. The ingame noise was very annoying at times though so I normally don't use sound.

The gameplay was very good, once someone get's far into the plot they will most likely be hooked the game. The game is difficult at times and I died a few times before I really got far in the game. So it might be very frustrating at times, but don't give and you will eventually beat the game.

The game does not last very long. Mostly because alot of places are easy to navigate, take the sewer for example walk around for like probobly 10 min. And you will probably be done with that part of the game. There are difficult parts like the hospital though, and there is a ex mode after you beat the game, this mode is slightly harder but you will have all the item you had stored in the previous game. So people will I think be playing this for a long time

This game is a great way to spend your time. Don't rush though it. Spend alot of time training {after you get to lvl 38 it will be very easy to lvl up}, if you don't train alot then you won't be able to to beat the bosses later in the game. There are alot of hidden weapons in this game so pay attention.
