Introduction
This is a wonderful little addition to the Harvest Moon empire! You'll recognize some of the features in the DS game, but it's a new Harvest Moon that can hold it's own! There is so much to do and accomplish in this game, it's difficult to become bored. Once you finish one goal, there are 40+ more to do!!
I have gone through most of the main story line, but there is so much left for me to do- it will take another year to even come close to actually finishing I'm thinking. I can't play for hours at a time!
Harvest Moon is a good choice for those who don't need or like high action, but llike puzzle, almost RPG type games.

The graphics are pretty basic, but there is soooo much information to be put on such a little screen, that is understandable to me. The colors are bright and the little characters are adorable! When the characters talk to you, you'll get a close up of that person that looks very good!

The sound is nice, but after awhile the HM tune may drive you a little crazy! There are records that you can buy in the game to change this song though! I find myself just turning down the sound so I don't have to hear it constantly, but it's cute if you just leave it the way it is!

It is very easy to follow and the controls are simple. You are a farmer, and you need to gather wild plants and items, and plant and harvest crops to make money. You'll also fish, play casino games, date and get married! There is definately plenty to do!

As I said above, there is so much to be done in this game that you will be playing Harvest Moon for hours! You may come close to achieving one goal and realize that there are many, many more to achieve! There are hundreds of levels of produce production and several mines to search!

Harvest Moon is definately a DS game worth adding to your collection. It's right up there with Animal Crossing:Wild World for lastability. You'll find yourself playing for hours raising your animals, planting seasonable vegetables, mining, dating, and exploring!
