Full Review of Harvest Moon DS for Nintendo DS

Howdy Doody. I think that this game is underlooked by many, although it is actually a very good game in my opinion. In this game, the Witch Princess and the Harvest Goddess have a long-going rivalry. One day the witch decides to cast a spell on the beloved goddess that turns her to stone and teleports her and the harvest sprites to another world! In this game, it is your job to free them.

Graphics

Graphics are the flaw of this game, they're basically the same as FOMT in my opinion. However, when you are using the touch screen gloves for animal care, the graphics improve by a lot. As for characters, their appearances have somewhat changed, like Nami's hair is nothing like her AWL hair, but Gustafa has a spiffy new jacket! ^.^

Sound

Sound has made a drastic change from the other games, as Jet the Harvest Sprite sells some records to play on channel 5 of the Sprite Station. Jet adds to his inventory as you advance in the game, so if sound is a big issue to you, then play through the game for records to play!

Gameplay

Gameplay is great in this game, however there are quite a few glitches in-game, some helpful, some annoying. Anyway some of the features include planting and growing yummy crops, getting more animals for your farm, also you can marry a girl and get a kid, also, like it's gamecube counterpart, A Wonderful Life, your kid actually grows up in this game. Lastability

This game can last forever, as there are many many MANY activities for you to do, such as collecting all one hundred and one harvest sprites, getting good relations with all the town villagers, getting married and having an Adult Kid, just building up your farm and doing whatever you wanna do. :)

Overall

Overall this is a great game that can last for ever with all there is to do, gameplay is awesome, sound is super, graphics are great, basically this is a game that you can get really hooked on in a short amount of time, all this and more makes Harvest Moon DS, My Favorite Game.
