How to Upgrade your Home in My Time in Sandrock

  • Visit Heidi at Construction Junction

    To do any building or upgrading in My Time in Sandrock you will need to see Heidi, the owner of Construction Junction. You will be able to go to Heidi as soon as you have moved into your new workshop and completed all the tutorial missions. Construction Junction is located next to City Hall. Heidi will provide all the materials you require and also do the work.

  • Expand your Yard

    To expand your house, you will first need to expand your yard. In My Time in Sandrock everything in your yard is considered part of your home, this means the bigger your yard is, the more room you will have for storage, machines, and home expansions in general. You can expand your yard either at your workshop which you will find on your property or in Heidi's Construction Junction. The first Yard Expansion will cost a total of 1,000 gols.

  • Expand your Living Space

    Under the Home Tab in the 'Home Expansion' menu, you can add new rooms or change the size of the existing ones. You ve the choice between three basic styles and the initial cost for all of them starts at 1,050 gols.

    • Stone House
    • Wooden House
    • Majestic Style Room

    After you have made your choice you can click and drag on an empty tile to either place a plain five-by-five room or begin expanding and customizing the size of the room you want to add. Keep in mind that the larger you make the room, the more gols it will cost.

    Roofs can also be added onto your home or onto any additional rooms you add in the same way. Simply select them from the 'Roof' tab, and then click and drag to create one of the size you need. If you are not satisfied with any of the additions you make to your home you can undo it and get your gols back.

  • Construction Junction Catalog

    Another tool you can use in My Time in Sandrock in order to customize your house and add separate rooms and spaces is the Construction Junction Catalog which has different constructions you can add to your home. These are listed below along with the materials they require and their cost.

    • Chicken Coop

      5 pieces of Iron Plate, 5 pieces of Hardwood Plank, and 2 Bronze Frame. The price is 1000 gols.

    • Hutch

      5 pieces of Hardwood Plank, 2 pieces of Bronze Frame, and 5 pieces of Iron Plate. The price is 1000 gols.

    • Stable

      5 Rubber Shells, 5 pieces of Steel Bar, and 10 pieces of Hardwood Stick. The price is 1000 gols.

    • Barn

      10 pieces of Iron Plate, 4 pieces of Bronze Frame, and 10 pieces of Hardwood Plank. The price is 1000 gols.

    • Simple Sandfish Pond

      5 Wooden Boards, 10 Stone Slate, and 8 pieces of Hardwood Stick. The price is 1000 gols.

  • Decorate the Outside of your House

    At the Construction Junction, you will have the option to decorate and customize the outside of your home in several ways. By using the 'Change View' option you can individually select aspects of your home such as the roof, the fence, and the walls. Once selected you can open up a menu that allows you to change the size, destroy it, or change the material. Below is a complete list of what you can change on the outside of your home.
