Monster Crown Cheats, Tips Strategy

Below is a collection of hints and tips that will help you to progress in the game.

Breed Often to Create Powerful Monsters

Breeding is one of the core mechanics in Monster Crown, it enables you to put two monsters together to create crossbreeds that share physical attributes of both parents. Bred monsters will also often have enhanced stats and will still retain a selection of attacks from their parents. This means it is possible to create powerful, versatile monsters that will have the ability to take down strong opponents or bosses.

Always Heal Injured Monsters During Battle

During battles in Monster Crown, you will not be able to use a high-defense monster to hold off attacks like in Pokemon games while you attempt to heal the rest of the team. In Monster Crown, if a monster loses all of its health during a battle with either a wild monster or another tamer, they are out for the remainder of the fight and cannot be used. It is therefore crucial in this game that you try to heal injured monsters during a battle.

Know When to Level Up Monsters

In Monster Crown you will only be able to train your monsters to a certain point, the game will inform you when you reach it by saying 'Limit' instead of indicating the next level. In order to progress further, when you reach this point you will have to defeat the next Chief Tamer. There is no point continuing to train your monsters once you have reached the limit, as the game hard gates leveling beyond this point.

Study Different Types of Attacks

Although the notebook will offer you a basic understanding of the different types of monsters in Monster Crown, it doesn't tell you everything. In order to fully understand how some attacks can be effective, you need to pay attention during battle to see how each attack fares against different types of monsters.

Use Monster Scan While Exploring

Monster Scan is a useful ability your monster can use while exploring to quickly defeat monsters they encounter. When you use Monster Scan, a reticle will appear and move in a straight line away from the main character. If the reticle hits another monster, your monster will attack it and either deal damage or defeat it outright. This is a quick and easy way to not only defeat monsters, but to also earn a small amount of money and XP.

Always Use Healing Items

Make sure you remember to use any healing items you may have whenever you need to heal, as you will not retain them after a loss. Instead of being penalized by losing money after a lost battle, tamers in Monster Crown leave behind the healing items they had in their inventory at the time of the loss. There is no way to retrieve these healing items, so you as well use them when ever you need to replenish health.

Always Gather Items While Exploring

Littered throughout the world of Monster Crown you will find items, these can be anything from standard healing items to lost tamer backpacks. Regardless of what it is, you should pick up these items as it's an easy way to gather resources and get money. Items randomly spawn into the environment, which means you will be able to harvest them an infinite amount of times.
