Introduction

This is now a pretty old game but people who buy the Wii may want to know what to buy. The Metroid games have never really depressed the nintendo fans but we'll see how this one fairs. This time you'll play as Samus the main charcter again, but this time she has some friends.

Graphics

The game clearly looks better than the older Metroids, with new enemies and weapons. The blasts from the enemies and from Samus are more colorful and more glossy than any other Metroid games in the franchise. The biggest part is how the enemies look bigger and better on the Wii and the weapons are now bigger as well. The graphics of this game are a 9 out of 10.

Sound

This is where the worst part of the game and the best parts come out. The sounds are all relatively similiar to the first two Primes. People who are new to the Metroids might find it to be action packed and fantastic however. The guns are the best sounding in the Primes though, with better weapons and sounds the sound aspect of the game gets a 8 out of 10.

Gameplay

Gameplay on the Wii didn't seem very long and if you knew where to go it went by fairly quickly, but thinks to the puzzles that doesn't happen. The Wii controls are easy to pick up on and makes the game many times better than the others. The game flows smoothly throught making the game a thrill to play. The gameplay gets a 9 out of 10.

Lastability

The worst part of the game is that it doesn't last long and with no Wi-Fi it can be a one playthrough game. Many people might want to go through on a different difficulty or to find all items, but other than that not much replay value. Thankfully the puzzles will slow some down in the game and make it more enjoyable. For no Wi-Fi and not much replay the lastability gets a 6 out of 10.

Overall

This game was a thrill to play with not much to do afterward though. Metroid deleviers a thrilling playthrough and exciting conclusion in the prime series. This game is recommended for new players to the series or people who played it from the first time the Metroid games came out. The game gets a 8 out of 10 by me.

Final Score: 80%
