~Glossary of Japanese Terms I use~
Aiguchi- A style of blade, very popular with daggers, occasionally seen on long and short swords. The style involves removal of the handguard, and customizing the sheathe, so that it and the hilt meet.
Daisho- "Long and short." Refering to the Katana and Wakizashi(Japanese longsword and shortsword) as a pair.
Hitokiri- "Man-slayer." Samurai trained as berserkers and assassins. In spite of their lack of armor, their prowess with a sword and their dexterity was almost unmatched.
Kakuriyo- The Spirit World. Also called the Reikai.
Myojin- A greater kami of an ideal, aspect, or thing. Immensely powerful, and capable of giving up some or all of their divinity for tremendous effects.
Sepenmaru- Japanese flavored double-bladed sword.
Tsukibito- "Moonfolk." Non-soratami moonfolk native to the plane of Kiyoharu. They are characterized by chalk white skin, blue eyes with a silver hue, silver-white hair, and rune-kanji that appear on the skin after learning a form of magic. Their ears also come down from where a human's would, like sharpened rabbit's ears.
