Characters

In Mario Kart Wii, there are a total of 26 characters. 12 are playable from the start and 14 are unlockable. There are 3 types of weights for characters, small, medium and large. With your Mii character, its weight depends on how you made the Mii.

Unlockable Characters:

Daisy - Either get 1st place in the 150cc Special Cup or play 2,850 races.
Birdo - Complete time trials on 16 different courses, get 250 online race wins or play 1,350 races.
Diddy Kong - Get 1st place in the 50cc Lightning Cup or play 450 races.
Bowser Jr - Get a 1-star rank for all 100cc retro cups or play 3,450 races.
Baby Luigi - Unlock 8 expect staff ghost datas, win 100 online ghost races or play 3,150 races.
Baby Daisy - Get a 1-star rank for all 50cc Wii cups or play 1,950 races.
Toadette - Complete time trials on all courses, get 1,000 online race wins or play 3,150 races.
Dry Bones - Get 1st in the 100cc Leaf Cup of play 1,050 races.
King Boo - Get 1st place in the 50cc Star Cup or play 750 races.
Rosalina - Win 50 races after having a Super Mario Galaxy save file, get a 1-star rank in all mirror mode cups or play 4,950 races.
Funky Kong - Unlock 4 expert staff ghost datas, win 25 online ghost races or play 2,250 races.
Dry Bowser - Get a 1-star rank in all 150cc Wii cups or play 4,350 races.
Mii Outfit A - Get 1st place in the 100cc Special Cup or play 1,650 races.
Mii Outfit B - Unlock all expert staff ghost datas, win 5,000 online races or ghost races or play 5,100 races or battles combined.
