Lucasarts is always a company name to connect to some of the best and craziest adventures in all the world of the videogames. This time is no exception for all, because this is another fun and crazy adventure. The sequel of the incredible Maniac Mansion: the Day of the Tentacle. It took places in the same mansion, but this time its an adventure that will took you in the vortex of time, and even change history.
Fantastic! Strange! Crazy! A good work, nothing to say about it. It's a very well drawed graphic, clear, where you can see everything with a single look. But it's better if you give more than a single glance, because sometimes the items you need are in the background, under your nose, so quite difficult to see.
One of the best works of the entire Lucasarts production. Music is good, entertaining, always adapt to the situation, with a good use of the SCUMM sound technology. I got the Italian version of the game: voices were in English language, but the game gave me good Italian subtitles. Nothing to complain about it.
It's a graphic adventure, do not expect more than it. You have only to travel through all locations, search for items, and using them to solve puzzles and proceed to the next locations. Nothing more. But I assure you that it's very fun doing it, because all locations are in someway strange, crazy, and very well themed for their time. You will understand what I am talking about playing the game.
It's a graphic adventure, do not expect more than it. Once you have completed this game, I don't think you will play it again. But I can assure you that after some time, you will feel the desire to play it again, to see that particular character, of make a couple of laughs. That's not bad, for this type of game.
This is one of the classic games that you can't afford to lose. You must have it in your collection. Maybe it's not compatible with the actual operative systems, but you can find online all the emulators needed to make this little masterpiece run on your powerful machine. It's worth the effort, believe me.
