• Learn the Ball Carrier Moves

  For ball players on offense to be effective when they have the ball it is crucial that you know a few ball carrier moves to get around defenders and gain more yardage. Take a look at the list of moves below and the corresponding buttons you need to press on your controller to perform them during a game.

  Slide (QB): Square/X

  Dive: Hold Square/X

  Spin: O or rotate right stick/ B or rotate right stick

  Hurdle: Triangle/ Y

  Jurdle: triangle+left stick/ Y+left stick

  Sprint: R2/RT

  Protect Ball: R1/RB

  Truck: RS Up

  Dead Leg: RS Down

  Juke Left: RS Left

  Juke Right: RS Right

• Experiment with Plays

  Don't be afraid to experiment with different plays each down in order to find out which ones work best against certain types of coverage. Make sure you don't keep repeating the same three or four moves when you are on offense as your opponent will be able to easily read your offense and know exactly how to defend against it.

• Avoid Tackles with a Stiff Arm

  A good way to avoid tackles in Madden NFL 24 is to perform a stiff arm. A stiff arm pushes away an opposing defender, and when used correctly will enable you to gain extra yards during a play. To do a stiff arm in Madden 24, press either A for Xbox while a defender is near, or X for PlayStation.

• Use a Hard Cut to get Open

  In order for a receiver to beat the defenders and find open space in Madden NFL 24 you need to master the controls on offense. A hard cut is a nifty move that enables you to quickly pivot and change direction. To perform a hard cut in Madden 24, ball carriers need to hold down either LT for Xbox or L2 for PlayStation, and then move the left stick to pivot.
