To get lots of money open your file of the sims (the bit where you move people around) and press and hold: 'COMMAND, SHIFT, C' a box in the top left corner should appear type in rosebud then hit return.

you will get 1000 then bring the box up again type in !;!;! keep doing that till the box is full then hit return.

You will have about 113,000. You can keep doing this cheat till you get tons of money.
