I lost the CD but I still have the serial number, how do I insta

I lost my The Sims 3 CD but I still have the serial number, what can I do to install the program on a new mac? I also have an extension game but it won't install without the original The Sims 3... Please let me know what I can do about it!

Install origin then log in your origin account from when you received your game click download on the sims 3 (it will take a few hours) then click install then a sims 3 installer page should come up put your serial code in then you click play and your fished
