Lawn Mowing Simulator Cheat and Tips

What to do if your employees won't start your contract

In the game called Lawn Mowing Simulator, you get to have a company where you as well as other people get to mow lawns of different clients. You will have employees which you can assign tasks in order to do their job, which are given in the form of contracts.

If you assign an employee a contract that includes a vehicle and equipment, you might notice that there's no option for them to start working on it. Employees cannot work alone in this game, they will only do their contact if you are doing one yourself. This means you'll need to get your own contract and do your job, and your employees will do theirs at the same time as you.

Your employees report comes back with zeros

If you did your own work and notice that employees come back with zeros all over their reports, you might be wondering what went wrong. If you're able to set up a contract with your employees, make sure that your contracts are highlighted yellow before you start.

Equipment in the game cannot be shared. If you assign a contract to an employee with specific equipment, and then use the same items on your contract, then your employee won't be able to use anything. This leads to zeros in your reports.

What to do if you can't tell the difference of cut grass

Whenever you mow the lawn, you might be cutting a specific area of grass but you're having a difficult time in seeing which areas are cut. Since grass is green, there may be a chance that you're having issues with colors hence it's hard to see which areas you have worked on.

Unfortunately there isn't much in the game's video settings to tweak upon. But you can try looking into your graphic driver settings and adjusting some aspects of your game such as increasing the contract or perhaps the saturation. This way, you should be able to differentiate between cut and uncut grass easier.

Why your lawnmower drifts

You start the game for the first time and start out on your new company. When tackling your first job, you might notice that your lawnmower keeps drifting in a specific direction, making things difficult. You might be wondering if it's an issue with the game or your controls.

When starting out, your lawnmower isn't actually the best one that's available. Part of the game's progression involves you upgrading your lawnmower in order to have better functions. This includes stability, so you'll need to continue playing and upgrading in order to get a smoother control.

How to cut grass between 2 ⅜" and 2 ¾"

There will be contracts in the game where you are required to cut grass at a specific height. For example, you need to cut grass between 2 ⅜ and 2 ¾ inches but you can't see a setting for this for your mower. You might use the weed eater instead but this can take up a lot of time.

In order to complete such contracts, you must set your mower to 2 ⅝ instead. This is a height in between the stated contract, so try using that. Things may be confusing because of the fractions used as well. So, try this setting for completing your contract with such a requirement.

What can you do if you have no Eco mower?

There will be instances in the game where you'll do the campaign and acquire different contracts. However, there are specific requirements on which type of mower you can use. It's certainly possible that all contracts that you receive will require an Eco mower. You might not have one, or even afford one yet, so what can you do?

If you have no Eco Mower in hand, you can try taking out a 2,500 loan. From there, go to the maintenance section of the game and check parts exchange. You can try to trade for an Eco Mower that you can use in your contract.

What to do if you missed a percentage of grass?

When completing contracts, you'll want to have a 100% rate in terms of cutting grass. You might try to cover all grass, but what if you only reach 98%? It can be maddening if you're trying to find out the last remaining patch of grass that needs cutting.

What you need to do is hold still, and press the R3 button (Click the right joystick). This will activate pro-vision which will let you see grass that you weren't able to cut yet. This is shown in the game's tutorial, however you might not have noticed it.

What can you do if lowering the blades doesn't work?

There will be instances where you are required to lower the blade of your mower for specific contracts, but you may find yourself in a situation where it doesn't work. You'll notice that the grass isn't being cut properly even if your blades are already lowered.

In order to fix this, make sure that you increase your revs first before lowering the blades. If your revs are not high enough, you won't be able to cut grass since it's not pushing the blades to go through it. To successfully cut, make sure to increase your revs first.

How to empty grass on bags

Whenever you are mowing lawns, the grass that you cut will need to be placed into grass bags so they can be properly handled. Later on, you will need to empty grass bags as part of your tasks. You will be asked to empty a bag, and hold the corresponding button in order to clear it. You might try this, but you notice that it only shifts your modes such as sport, standard, and control. So, what gives?

If you are emptying bags. Make sure that you hold the button long enough. Try not to move, just use the button that is needed. You need a bit of time in order to empty bags of grass. If you're impatient, you might swap modes instead. Make sure to check your in-game control settings as well if there are any conflicts with specific buttons.
