###############################################################################

Super 7 is a game for the iPhone and iPod Touch. The name of the game is to
drag numbered disks around to create the number 7, without ever going above 7
or below -7.

Download it from the App Store (link below).

                                II. HOW TO PLAY
###############################################################################

Disks will appear on the screen. At first, they will be numbers. When disks
combine, they increase in size and add their number values. So for example, you
could combine a 3 and a 4, or two 1 disks and a 5.

If you go above 7 or go below -7, you will lose.

There are two ways to get extra points:

* Size bonuses - If the disk grows big enough in physical size, it will yield
                 extra points upon becoming a 7. The bigger it is, the more
                 points you get.

* Combos - You'll gain extra points if you have multiple 7s on the screen at
           once.

As you play for more time, more disks will appear. Such as:

* Jokers - Jokers are golden with little stars on them. If they collide with
           any other disk, they will both become a 7.

* Negatives - You will see negative numbers appear as well. They are just like
              their positive counterparts, but in the opposite direction.

* Multipliers - Disks that have x2 and x3 on them will multiply the value on a
                disk by 2 or 3.

* Dividers - Dividers, with a division sign, turn other disks into two disks.
             If it hits a 4, for example, two 2s come out. If it hits an odd
             number, it'll split into two and round them differently (so 5
             becomes 2 and 3).

* Flip - A Flip is half black and half white. It multiplies disks by -1. So if
         it hits a positive disk, it'll turn negative, and vice-versa.

Players can use these disks to their advantage so that they can get more
points.

                                 III. STRATEGY
###############################################################################

* Try to remove the higher numbers. Nothing can hit a 1 and give you a game
over, but nearly anything that touches a 6 will end the game. Get rid of higher
numbers first.

* Get rid of bigger stuff first. Somewhat like the previous point: no matter
how you slice it, a 6 is dangerous. But a tiny 6 is much better than a huge
one. Try to kill the bigger stuff first because it's a larger target.

* Learn the colors. If you know colors, you can quickly spot things before they
enter the area. 1 is orange, 2 is yellow, 3 is green, 4 is red, 5 is blue, and
6 is purple.

* Negatives are your friend. I've never lost a game because I went too low. Put
them on bigger numbers so that they're less "threatening".

* Save the joker. A joker or two will enter the area in the game. Save it for
when you're in a pinch (like if you have a giant 6 and nowhere to finish it).

* The beginning is a great time for combos. You'll get a number of disks at the
start which are pairs. Wait to combine them until they all show up, then
combine them all at once for a series of combos.

* Stay away from the edges. Disks "spawn" from the edges of the screen, and if
you are connecting disks near that, you can have unintended collisions.

* Play a lot. The more you play, the better you become at seeing what will make
a 7.

* Don't try to get too fancy; it's dangerous. If there aren't a lot of disks
floating around, you can probably do some fancier things. But the longer you
play, the less fancy you can afford to be. Just make matches; don't go for size
bonuses or combos.

###############################################################################

============
Achievements
============

* Create a 7.
  This achievement is beyond easy, and you'll get it if you play the game once.

* Create 77 sevens in one game.
  That's a pretty good number of sevens. Follow my tips and play carefully for
  this achievement.

* Create a -7.
  Use negatives (and perhaps multipliers and flips) to work your way down to a
  -7.

* Turn a 7 into a -7.
  This one goes hand-in-hand with the previous one. If you can make a -7 and
  then build it up to a 7, you'll have this achievement. This is probably only
  possible later in the game, with the use of many negative disks, multipliers,
  and flips.

* Create 7,777 sevens in total.
  You've got to play a lot, but you can do this if you have the patience.

* Score a 2x combo bonus.
  At the beginning of each round, three pairs of disks will come out and each
  pair will yield a 7. Use them to get easy combos.

* Play the game 7 days in a row.
  Not too hard. If you can't remember to do this, set an alarm reminder in the
  built-in Clock application.

* Remove 5,040 disks in total.
  This one also takes patience, but if you play for a few hours total, you'll
  probably get this achievement.

* String seven 1s or -1s together with one line.
  This one requires a bit of luck -- you need seven 1s or -1s on the screen at
  once. This is probably easiest early in a round. Make sure you only use one
  line.

* Play the game for 777 minutes total.
  777 minutes requires about 12.5 hours of gameplay. Be dedicated and play a
  lot!

* Have at least 7 friends in the "Best Scores" leaderboard in OpenFeint.
  You may wish to go to the leaderboard and friend request those people.

* Break the target score 111 times.
  Each time you play, a target score appears on the top-right after a bit.
  Break it 111 times!

* Score a +7 size bonus.
  Use negatives and small-numbered disks to make a huge disk.

* Don't draw lines for 17 seconds after earning at least 17 points.
  Earn 17 points, and then let the game sit there until you lose. It's mostly
  luck, so it may require a few tries.

* Have the following numbers on the screen at the same time: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7.
  For this achievement, you'll need a bit of luck. As you play longer and
  longer durations, more and more balls appear. They will eventually find a way
  of being the numbers 1 through 7.

* Use the "more games" button to find out more about our other great games.
  Simply click the "more games" button on the main menu and you're done. You
  don't even need an Internet connection to get the achievement.

* Unlock all the other achievements.
  Get all the other achievements for this final one.

The seven motif
===============

The whole game of Super 7 revolves around the number seven. It appears in the
central gameplay mechanic, but it's elsewhere too. Here is what I found:

* Disks have 7 sides (heptagon)

* 7 high scores maximum

* The rainbow color pallet used throughout the game is 7 colors (ROYGBIV)

* 7 frequently appears in achievements in various forms (e.g. 7,777 or 7
  factorial)

* 17 achievements

* 7 listings in the Statistics menu

* "Super 7" takes 7 characters
