At the start of the game you only have one available lieutenant slot but you can get more slots for free by completing jobs.

Make a point of going to the 'Allies' tab and loading up on allies as soon as possible.

Participate in the boss fights whenever possible as it will enable you to increase your experience and level up when you run out of energy.

Whenever you send gifts to your allies they will be prompted to send you gifts back.

Vehicles can be very effective in battle but due to how expensive they cost more often then not people neglect to buy them so you can gain an instant advantage by including them in your purchases.

Make sure each lietenant of your gang has increased their attack and defense by equipping one weapon, one gear, and one vehicle.

Before you decide to battle make sure you know the difference between dueling and invading because when you start a war against another gangster all of your gangsters and armour will be matched against theirs.
