Even though you have invested money into them it is tempting to just keep your original warriors, it is better though to switch them for more expensive troops which may not start of as great but will be worth it in the long run.
There will be times when you won't be able to have all your troops in the fight, when you are faced with this scenario teleport the injured soldiers off the front line and replace them with fresh ones. If you do this frequently you will save a lot of gold.
