Combine

When you find yourself in a situation where you keep getting '1's and '2's try and keep them near each other as this will make them combine together once they are matched with their missing half.

Luck

You will find that there will be some games where you will be lucky and keep getting the perfect tile you need for a string of matches while in other games you may keep getting tiles that are no good to you whatsoever. You have no control over this aspect of the game so there is no point getting frustrated.

Space

Focus on building up small clusters into one large number when you find that you are starting to run out of space.

Score

It is possible to see your current score at any time during the game by selecting the 'Challenges' button in the upper-right corner of the game board.

Chasing Matches

Trying to match two large numbered tiles and forgetting about the rest of the board is a common mistake that players make which will leave you with a lot of unmatchable leftovers. It is more beneficial to keep matching on the outside and controlling the board as this will eventually get the big numbers together.

Board

Try to control the board, although you have no say in what tile will come next you can influence where it will appear. New tiles only slot inot rows or columns that have just moved so try to only swipe those that you want the new tile to join.

Stranding

Before making a move check to make sure that you are not standing a group of tiles away from their like-matches.

Time

There is no time limit so do not feel rushed into making a decision. Take your time and check all your options and consider the move after the one you are about to make. Not thinking ahead at least two moves is the quickest way to lose a game.

Slow Drag

Make use of the 'slow drag option' when you are deciding to make a move. Just move your finger in a direction to see a preview of what tiles will merge and which will overlap. Make sure you drag back to the original starting point otherwise the game will make the move you previewed your actual move.
