You can access your save files at the 'Main' menu and if you have completed the first episode you will be able to replay specific chapters. It is also possible to see how your in-game choices match up against other players' choices.

The 'Gameplay' menu can be accessed at any time and contains options for the games settings, it also allows you to view your Achievements and the Book of Fables (character listings and bios).

There are certain items that you will be able to pick up as you play through the game. These items are catalogued on the left side of the screen. Try to collect these items whenever possible so that you get the option to give them away to certain characters in certain situations.

There are several 'quick time events' where you are required to act quickly and input on-screen commands. Failing to complete a 'quick time event' adequately can sometimes result in a 'Game Over'.

The game makes a note on how you respond to characters and situations so your behaviour can help or hinder you as the story progresses. The best option if it is available when you do not know what to say is to remain silent.

Most of what takes place during the game is relayed through story scenes, while this is happening keep an eye out for people and items that are marked with a circle as this indicates that when you hover over them you will be given options on how you want to interact.
