Keep an eye on the default cursor as it can change into the following icons.

Magnifying Glass:

This icon indicates areas you can inspect more closely.

Hand:

This icon indicates items you can manipulate or pick up and put in your inventory.

Smaller Arrow with a Compass:

This icon indicates places where you can move to the next scene.

In Chapter 3 - The Backyard use the tissue you got from the car HO to clean the dusty area above the lock to the right to reveal B6E3G1 which is the code for the lock.

You will discover that there will be some hidden things that do not appear on the list of items to find. These items require an extra action before they can be found like opening something or removing another item which is hiding the one you need.

In Expert mode the 'Skip' and 'Hint' buttons take longer to charge, you will not be able to change the mode during the game and you will not have the sparkle to guide you.

In Regular mode you will be able to skip mini-games quicker and the 'Hint' button will recharge quicker after use. It is also easier to find your way around as active areas will be indicated with sparkles.
