None of the characters have any bonuses or perks that you can take advantage of in game.
Don't use your stars to unlock characters that are valued at 75 and 150 points as these can be unlocked by beating scores. It is more beneficial to save your stars for the characters that require 200 and above points.
If you 'Like' the game on Facebook you will recieve one character for free.
Always stay focused on the right side of the screen so you can determine what type of wave is coming and make the necessary adjustment either up or down to avoid it.
