If you successfully complete the game under the higher difficulty settings you will be able to earn more credits and pick-up better equipment drops.
When you begin the game it is more beneficial to focus on upgrading your equipment so you increase your player score and enhance your total strength. Remember that the Experience your equipment gets is determined by the rarity of the element you used when upgrading it.
The following is a list of locations and where they can be found in the game.
Anoat Sector
Located within the Outer Rim Territories of the galaxy.
Anoat

Bespin
A giant gas planet located in the vicinity of the Anoat system, in a little-visited sector of the galaxy

A remote, icy planet that was the sixth planet in the star system..
The 'Dodge Roll' ability is particularly effective against melee enemies as it allows you to avoid attacks and get a breather. If is also useful against impending attacks when red zones appear. To perform a 'Dodge Roll' double tap anywhere to quickly evade in that direction.
The 'Hold Out Blaster' ability is effective against groups of enemies as it damages any enemy every couple of sends that is within the cone you shoot into. Do not worry too much about your energy draining away as you use it as it will quickly replenish when you stop shooting.
Your hero is defined by the equipment that you collect during the game. If you collect a full sets of equipment you will earn added bonuses. Always try to max your level your equipment so you recieve their blueprints. Go to the armoury to keep track of what you have collected.
When you speak to the NPCs you will unlock 'Opportunities', these are like side missions and give you the opportunity to earn Chromium which is the premium currency in this game. Make sure you tackle 'Opportunities' as soon as they become available as they will dissapear after a period of time. Once completed 'Opportunities' will no longer remain visible.
Try not to let your success rate in missions get too low because if it does there is a possibility that you will lose team members.
You can earn more equipment, elements, and credits by sending out team members on individual missions, make sure when choosing who to send you take into account their abilities and match them accordingly.
There are five categories of abilities you can receive from faction leaders that will define your hero. The five caregories are Directional, Targeted, Self, Passive, and Ultimate.
After completing missions you will be given pieces of equipment, if a piece of equipment has a star rank it is to indicate that when it reaches optimal level it can be upgraded. Upgrding these pieces of equipment will enhance their rarity and permit you to upgrade it more.

When you have earned the trust of a faction in Story mode they will become unlocked. The three main factions are the Trade Spine League, Rebel Alliance, and Ivax Syndicate.
Save the commonly found rank 1 components so you are able to combine them along with other materials to upgrade the component so you increase it's power. To upgrade a component you tap the component button at the top of the inventory menu.
An easy way to earn credits is to continuously repeat side missions until you have the desired amount.
You will recieve a blueprint when you level-up your equipment, this blueprint can then be used to upgrade your crew so they are better prepared for more challenging missions.
