The best way of improving your racing skills is to play the Grand Prix which has over 100 different events. It will also earn you credits to unlock cars and parts.

These are earned as you progress through each of the events in the game so that when you have a certain amount you unlock additional cars and upgrade parts.

To replenish your Boost Meter so it becomes full again you must complete drifts.

Don't decelerate when you approach a sharp turn, instead keep going ahead and start turning your car in the direction of the turn and tap the brake (don't hold it down). If done correctly you will begin to drift, when this happens you must keep a handle on your car as you go into the turn and continue steering it in the direction of the turn until you begin to come out of it. When you do come out of the turn compensate by turning the car slightly in the opposite directon.
