It works, but not as described. What you do is set your date in the future, say one year from now, and all the food on the counters gets sold. Your stuff gets sold out, and you end up with GOBS more coins. I did it and collected over 6 million coins in the blink of an eye. It was pretty freaking cool. Everything that's cooking will still be cooking when your time refreshes though, so you don't lose any orders. Be aware that if you play other games, those will also be effected...all your fashion story, bakery and restaurant story stuff will sell out. You can block the doors in FS to keep it from happening though. Good luck tricking your phone! It took me several tries before the year change took.

I did it once and when I came back to the game, no one came, the host wasn't there, and the food expanded it's time to like 2 or1 hour higher!
