Try not to kill enemies that are near ledges as this results in silver and gold coins flying all over the place, more often than not down into a spiked pit.

Unfortunately in this game you can't stock up on Med Kits you find so they are only useful when your health bar isn't full, if your health bar is full you have to leave it behind.

Always take the slow but safe way down because although you won't take damage falling from great heights there is always the chance when taking a leap of faith that you will land in a bed of spikes.

Study the enemy patterns whenever possible as this will give you some idea what you're up against.
