Sims freeplay taking long time to update?
It has gone past the 100% but now it's stuck on saying "your game is updating" the bar is going across but how much more time will this take? It's already been 10 minutes.

Try going into the app manager, find freeplay and click force stop. Wait a few seconds then reload the app. Fixes it for me every time.

You don't need to worry, the Sims app takes overnight to update... Make sure you have enough space on your phone. Try downloading it again before sleep so that in the morning you can play as much as you want

Overnight? I just updated it 10 minutes ago "it's still updating", but it's 8:00 am. So, like, by 5 at night it'll be done? ðŸ˜

All the are great but it's easier to just go into settings and change the date and time into the next day

Possible Reasons Why Stuck
- The game is moved to SD CARD
- Using Modded APK (DETECTED)
- Bad Internet Connection/Using Data
- Wrong Date and Time
- Server cannot connect to EA Games
- Pirated APK (Downloaded via Browser)
- Server is offline
Possible Answers
- Move the game to TABLET/PHONE
- Try other Modded Apk
- Connect to Wi-Fi, or a different wifi
- Set the Date and Time to Automatic
- Restart your Wi-Fi (via Settings or Router)
- Use the original apk from Google Play Store
- Wait for a couple of minutes or hours and test if it is working.
- As someone said, you can wait overnight.
- Do not change Date & Time, be patient.

I just installed my Sims Freeplay games on the black HP laptop but it really really really taking a long time to update and I have to wait for it to finish

My kids android tablets (3 tablets) have this every now and then too, Force stop the app, clear cache for the app (not the data!). Can reboot tablet first too to fix possible other problems. When starting the app again, you'll swiftly see the download box, and then the "please wait while updating". Within 10 mins the update is done. Hope this works for you too.
