How can I get my sims to be dirty?

I'm working on the Love is In The Air quest. One of the quest asked my sim to have a deep clean on hands but they're already very clean that they refuse to do so. I've been wait for half day but they don't get dirty. How can I make them become dirty?

Shake your phone until they puke ake them mop it up and there cleanies will go down

Make sure the Sims are both married or partners at least.
