How do I use a bookshelf.
This seems very dumb but I cannot use a bookshelf!! I have a task called Bread WInner it for cooking hobby. One task is to "Search Bookshelf" I bought a bookshelf I see the option to "Search Bookshelf" But when I click it my sims just has a thought bubble with footsteps and doesn't make a move. I can use bookshelves at other sims towns but it doesn't complete the task. Also I cannot do any type of reading on any type of bookshelf. I also bought several characters none of them can do it. Is there something I'm doing wrong. And doesn't really matter but does anyone have a pool? I need to clean a neighbors pool for another task. Thanks guys for all your help. P.S. For the Quests you tap on the shelf and among the tasks that are always there will be a special task for the Quest.
For regular use, you tap on the shelf and you get the standard tasks list.
Note that if you are seeing a bubble with footsteps inside of it when you tap on the shelf, that means that your path to the shelf is blocked by something so you will not be able to use it.
Either remove the item blocking the path or move the shelf somewhere else.
