Bree from the DIY mission is stuck

I had to plant strawberries. So 24 hours lost in this shit, and then had to do the 'give food', which even more stupid wastes 12h but alright. I put my sim up to do it right before I went so sleep, closed the game. Exactly 12 hours later, I turn the phone on and guess what, my sim didn't do shit. And the 'give food' task begins exactly there. I'm pissed, but thought, I still have 4 days so let it go.

Now Bree has eater her stupid food, and so did my sim. Next task: tell joke to Bree.

Except I have a problem. Bree is still sitting down eating her stupid food and won't get up. Every time I tap on her, the sim complains and gives me the little red circle crossed out, meaning it's a task she won't do. Meanwhile, time is running out and I won't be able to end this mission on time because God knows how long this stupid thing is going to get stuck.

I'm tired of all the glitches in this game and I keep on losing shit after shit because it glitches and has problems and whatnot. So I'd like to know if anyone else is having this problem because it's driving me insane.
