Stone fireplace stopped working. Will not turn on. Option to turn on works, but no fire.
Stone fireplace stopped working. Used to turn on and off fine. Given the selection to turn on, it just stays off.

Try restarting your device. It must be a temporary glitch, and should get resolved once the game is refreshed.
If you don't want to restart your device, here's what you can do-
1. Switch off the wifi/data from your device. Or simply put it into airplane mode, that will automatically turn off the wifi.
2. Open Sims Freeplay
3. A message will pop up, saying that the game requires an internet connection
4. Now go to your hime screen, then turn on the wifi (make sure the app isn't closed)
5. Now go to Sims Freeplay again, and reconnect with the internet
