How do I get Sims to do certain tasks?
I have two tasks.
Admire the progressive poster.
Design clothing
Every time I click on a sim to do it, two little shoes show up over their heads and nothing ever gets done. I have tried everything

Luckily others have experienced this problem. Usually it means that something is blocking their way, so they can't complete the task. If you have anything in the path of the poster or the design booth, you'll have to move it out of the way.
Also, sometimes it's just a glitch and it can be fixed by sending your sim to another house and then having them go back home and complete the task.
