"Add a Sim to town" Ipad Freeplay

Here's the deal. I'm on the weekly task and it's to add a Sim to town. I know how to do that. Matter of fact I've added two new Sims. One I moved into an empty house I had and when that didn't work I built a house and adding that Sim it still didn't work. I have no clue what else I could do. I have 13 out of the 15 Sim's I'm able to have on level 15.

It's a glitch that EA knows about and are trying to fix. You could wait or pay the LP's to pass.

It's a glitch or is it planned to generate more income for the publishers because you'll have to buy LP's to forego the task? Hmmmmm?

Yes but how do you do it
Guest answered:

Darn. Mine is doing it too! I guess I'll have to pay the LPs to pass it.

Ive added a baby and even bought a new house to add a new sim and I still havent been able to pass that part of the weekly task! When is EA going to fix that glitch I don't feel like paying the LPs to pass it...

Guest answered:

Didn't complete te weekly Quest.
I don't know what to do. It's getting frustrating.

I don't know how to move in a new sim to a house with old sims
I just don't know
Guest answered:

Mine is doing the same thing I saved up my money to build the Stables and then spent most of it building two Houses one sim moved in with the other one and I added a new sim and still didn't work

Guest answered:

Verified. I kicked a sim out of town to add another one. Didn't work.
Guess I'll spend LPs then. Want it get those keys!

Guest answered:

I have added six Sims... They should delete the task until the glitch is fixed.

Guest answered:

Pointless having that task and if they know it's a glitch, why not fix it. Come on now it should be a simple task to pass we shouldn't have to use LP to pass it!

Guest answered:

Ive had the same trouble...added 2 adults and a baby no reward or conformation..come on EA fix it!

Guest answered:

The glitch is happening to me, as well. I only have 24 hours left to complete this week's remaining Goals until the time limit is up. There is no way I will make it even if I use LPs. Guess I'll wait the 24 hours and the goal will carry over to next week and then I'll waste the LPs to move on. What a bummer.

Guest answered:

The task wasn't fixed so far, and I also Notice since I restart over, the task to watch documentary for Simoleon's tree somehow bugged aswell, forcing me to use one LP because the Sims I ordered to watch TV somehow didn't ended the task even hours after the timer is off.

Experienced the same problem. Come on, EA, you are not getting my five LP's when I have already completed the task! Please fix this!
Guest answered:

Same problem here. Hopefully they refund the LP's for that cause it's bogus

Guest answered:

Same thing. Ughh it sucks. I added a Sim to an empty house. And I added a new baby still didn't work.

Guest answered:

I have the same problem I've spend all of my money on buying Houses & it stays on the same task. I've made 3 Sims so far & it still says to add a sim to the town I don't know what's wrong but could someone heLP? I need my weekly task so I can get LP to make the birthday cake to make toddlers!!

Guest answered:

This is frustrating bc I added and removed my sim to an open house. Nothing. Built a new house (for 10 LPs just to see if that was what the task meant) and now I need to spend 5 more LPs to skip? Ugh.

How do you file a claim with EA? I was looking at the something or other monkey site the game uses.
Guest answered:

Same here. Might just wait it out. Usually enjoy playing this game but if it continues might delete.

If you use the 5 LPs to skip it, they give you 3 LP's for completing the task. So really you lose just 2. It sucks but glad the task is over.
