Why can't I make fancy coffee
Theres footsteps above the sim that wont let it make the coffee

That means that access to the device is blocked. Open the build menu and tap it to move it, then make sure it's arrow points in an open direction and that there is nothing blocking access to it.

OK when you see that footsteps Icon it means that your Sim has NO route to the device. You need to relocate it.
