I want to add another sim, but doesn't let me?

I want to add another sim, but when I buy a house then click 'add new sim' it says 'a sim is already being added to your town. You must wait for them to finish before you add another'. But I haven't got any sims being added to my town? I got 4 sims, and wish to add another one.

You need to look for the house in which you have placed the Cradle/ Crib and added a baby Sim that you then forgot about and never completed. Find it and tap on the cradle to complete the birth and then you will be able to add a new Sim.

i look in all the house is in cannot find a crib with a child in it & i have also removed the cribs

I wrote an answer that’s waiting approval. Hopefully it helps if you still have this issue.

Go through your Houses that have cribs in them. If a crib has a green add button on top of it then it is a baby that is being added to the town. Click on it, choose the baby’s name, and add it to your town. Your problem should now be fixed. I had the same problem as you and this fixed it immediately.

I got the answer for this problem. Click the empty crib without a baby on it and you will Notice that you can't sell it so you will add a baby and you can delete the baby after you make it. Now the crib can now be deleted and also you can add another sim

I only have one crib I deleted the crib but still can’t add a new sim

I was wondering if you were still going through this. I am going through this at the moment. And I need help. I don’t have anyone being added not even babies, yet I’m still not allowed to add anyone.
