How can I pass the best friend stage I tried being nice be funny and it never worked please help me how can I go to budding romance ? Thanks

I really need help I really try to get through the best friend stage in Sims free play just that I can't seem to get past it it always stays at a little bit felled in I really need help I tryed pressing all the nice question never worked even tryed to play it again and still never works how can I get past the best friend stage on sims free play
