Two sims moved in together, but am not allowed to relocate to ne

I had two sims, each who had a cat of their own, get married. When I tried to relocate the cat from the abandoned house, the image was grayed out and I was told that you couldn't have more than two pets (even though there was only the one cat there). I can go into the pet store, and there both people are available to add a pet to (any of the three species) there, but it's still a no go on the relocating.

This seems like a glitch of some sort. You should be able to move Pets anywhere you want, and I don't think there is a limit. There might be limit of the type of Pet per household. That could probably be why you can't move a pet there.

Try moving the cat to another person's house and see if that works. If it does than that means you can only have one type of Pet per household.
